No matter what the idiots say, Soto is on a historic start to his career. He's matching up 90% similar with Ken Griffey Jr and Mickey Mantle through their age 24 seasons. He's the same age as Judge was as a rookie NOW. 7th youngest to 500 RBI, and 7th most home runs before turning 25 (and that's with a covid season screwing him out of 100+ games). He's in his prime now and loves the bright lights. He's going to be an all time Yankee great--and this is coming from a Red Sox fan.

When people say that Soto is overrated, it's often because they don't know much about baseball. When you see a young player like Soto, who is only 25 years old, achieving the same feats as legendary players such as Barry Bonds and Alex Rodriguez, it's a testament to his talent and hard work. Soto is doing something right, and his success is well-deserved.

@@WanerPena what gets me about the "overrated" crowd is when they just blatantly make stuff up like it doesn't apply to literally any other young hitter. "He was bad in 2022, Acuna/Betts/etc is better"....like did you have that same energy when Betts hit .260 with 60 rbi in his early 20s? Or when Acuna had a very off year in 2022 as well? Hell, even Barry Bonds batted .248 as a 24 year old. The greatest of the greats pretty much all erupt into their prime at or around 25. For soto to have a top 15 all time overall start at the plate and have the greatest eye since Ted Williams spells a 600 homer career if he stays healthy and lots of MVP votes.

It's only been 3 weeks into the 2024 Season and Juan has already made such an impact on this team (and the fanbase). Not all players can deal with the pressure of playing in New York, but it seems that he embraced it right away. If the Yankees win it all this year, Juan will deserve A LOT of credit for it
