The way Soto goes about his at bats reminds me of Bonds. He's patient and never in a hurry, will take pitches, study what the pitcher is doing. Then he unloads once he's timed up the stuff.

Is funny he first got 3 balls and thought maybe he wants to walk me again, so he gave him the opportunity to do it by no swinging the next two pitches, but the pitcher challenged him throwing 3 consecutive strikes, with the last one he swing and looked at the pitcher like having a mental conversation "I told you, you should have throw another ball"

Very underrated comment. The older I get, the more I realize everything, and I mean everything is driven by money. Theres probably some formula or algorithm that tells MLB that they lose money and viewership after the Yankees lose, so they hold off. Ive noticed this trend as well.

@@don63 Amen to that. He's a great ballplayer. Would have been a good idea to take Gunnar waiting to tag up seriously the night before. No urgency on that at all and didn't even compete, Gunnar ended up scoring an insurance run. I don't know that he takes the game seriously sometimes.

His patience at the plate is unmatched’ he just doesn’t swing at bad pitches and when he does is just a bit off time, and even tho he swing is so on plane that when he is late the barrel stays in the zone a hella long time to crush balls to the oposite field, also eye/hand coordination is stupid, kinda like he sees a baseball like a beach ball, PLAKATA!!!

Hats off to Soto, he decided to make a head game of that plate appearance and won it. I don't think Kremer wilted or anything but it fired Soto up and he got in a great (and ultimately meaningless) shot. Soto won the plate appearance no doubt. Kremer is pretty humble and cool and I'm betting he laughed it off. Last thing he allowed and he went seven.
