a sketchbook travel vlog in japan: exploring castles 🏯, onsen towns, & interactive art exhibitions 🎨

This trip was all about exploring and finding inspiration in nature and art. 🌿🎨 We visited some of the most beautiful gardens (Himeji Castle and Koko-En in Kobe) I’ve ever seen, visited the traditional onsen town of Arima (and had an amazing egg pudding) and explored a Tokyo digital art gallery (Teamlabs Borderless) that left me completely inspired.
Everything felt so intentional and creative. This trip is teaching me so much about balance, simplicity, and finding beauty in the little things-lessons I’m excited to bring into my own art.
