Really awesome video. I’d like to hear more of your thoughts on staying at budget vs expensive!
@SoloTravelPOVАй бұрын
Majority of the cost for the expensive stay was definitely the dinner! It was too much food for 2 people, but very delicious and I still think about those crabs 🤤 And it was nice not having to worry about finding and reserving a crab dinner in town! For the budget hotel, I really liked how I didn’t have to worry about making my stay there worth it, so I explored town more. For the expensive stay, the facilities were gorgeous and the baths are more comfortable than the public ones. So I wanted to stay inside more and explore less of the town!

The natural areas look great for exploration. Of course I’m going to have to see a big city if I go to Japan, but these are the kinds of places that would heal my soul.
@SoloTravelPOV11 күн бұрын
A conversation club sounds so fun, I am jealous! I agree, the big cities are popular for a reason, but when you are tired, visit Kinosaki to replenish your body! But honestly, if you find any onsen near your travels, I would say go for that! This video is exactly what I’m looking for. I was gonna skip Kyoto because of overcrowded. I enjoy this kind of experience than places with crowd of tourists especially the big tourist group. What’s the best way to get to this town from Tokyo?
@SoloTravelPOV2 ай бұрын
The best route from Tokyo Station will be: -Tokaido Shinkansen to Kyoto Station -Then at Kyoto Station take the JR Hashidate to Kinosaki Onsen Station From Tokyo to Kinosaki this route will take about 5 hours. Since you will have to pass through Kyoto, you can still check it out! Other than the main tourist areas, you can definitely find peaceful areas in Kyoto ☺️

Thank you for this video! Where can we buy the onsen pass?😅 We might take a day trip instead due to our short trip in kyoto, but we’ve been thinking about KInosaki onsen and heard great things about it! 😊
@SoloTravelPOV5 ай бұрын
You can buy the Onsen Pass at the Tourist Information Center Sozoro right across from the train station! Also, any of the bath houses will sell the day pass as well. Tourist Information Center Sozoro will also hold your luggage for a fee - but check the operating hours to make sure you have enough time to explore, then pick up your luggage! Check out the description of the video for a Google Map guide to Kinosaki, and it has all of the points of interest listed - Kyoto might also be worth visiting if you can get tickets to the newly opening Nintendo Museum, if you are interested! Let me know if you have any other questions, happy trip planning and safe travels :)
