I used to cut. This song makes so much sense. I wish I could say this band saved me, but I went down a different path. I now have scars on my arm, and all over a girl who isn't even in my life anymore. I feel like I have no right to call this band my favorite, even though I have loved these guys for over a year, now. Everyone, don't cut. You will get labeled, you will regret it.

I wish there were more bands with this similar music style. I mean not just in this genre but with this certain sound that A Skylit Drive has. I really don't know how to describe their music. It's not just post-hardcore, it's a really unique style of post-hardcore.

This song has so much truth to my life and what I try to do. I've been there before, truly alone, depressed to the point to where I thought nothing would break through, tried suicide a number of times, but I pulled myself out of it, and by doing so try so hard to pull other people out of it, too. To convince them that they're not alone in their fight, and that others will stand by their side, hold out a helping hand, until they can stand on their own again.

It's cliche but it does get better. I remember being on the edge a few years ago. Got bullied by people just because I like to do things differently, parents always telling me i'm a mistake because I wasn't able to meet their expectations, list goes on. But I held my head high and told myself i'm not letting them win. Right now i found friends who accept me as I am. This song reminds me of how proud I am for all those who kept fighting. but, makes me mourn for those who cannot hold on anymore.
