Joonie reminds me of a girl I went to high school with. We were allowed to take electives at nearby schools if they weren't available at our own campus, so we'd walk back and forth between classes. This girl was one of the smartest in our class, but one day she walked all the way back to our school *in the snow* before realizing (in the most matter-of-fact way) that she left her coat at the other campus! She was so in her head that it just didn't occur to her; luckily, she had on a wool sweater and tights, so no harm done. 😂

Namjoon is a cutie and a genius BUT please keep him out of the kitchen. Or anything that can hurt him. Truly safety first, second and third. He has a lot of kinetic energy in him that unleashes itself when he is trying to undertake tasks that require fine motor skills. It always ends in chaos. But I love that he keeps trying. It's rude/disrespectful not to and it's just a normal part of speaking that you use honorifics for anyone born the year before you or more, you don't even think about it it comes naturally. *it can be hyung or other honorific. Usually in official english subtitles they just put their stage names no matter what the members call each other. Like if Jin calles "Namjoon-ah" it's usually still says "RM" in the official subtitles and if Tae calls Hobi "hyung" it normally says just j-hope in the subtitles etc. Sometimes especially JK also jokingly says their names like Jwehooope!, Jaman!, Jwan! for Hobi, Jimin and Jin especially but he does it occasionally for all members and then drops the honorifics but other than that they usually always use honorifics. Normal conversation = use of honorifics and mostly hyung.
