I spaced out for a second when you talked about Recursion, but I looked it up and I must have added it to my lists when you mentioned it in a previous video, and it sounds so good! And there's a neuroscientist and memory, so it would probably count for Neurovember as well! I have it on audiobook, so I might try that one out too if I need something thrillery. I have no idea how it's already November 😭 This time last year, I really got back into reading (the new blossoming love for audiobooks really brought me back to reading). I can't believe it's getting close tot he 1 year mark! You know I'm EXTREMELY excited for your Butcher&Blackbird review 🤭 Though I did read your goodread review. So slight spoiler. I already voted on the community poll before coming on here (and I picked 2 Twisted Crown) 🥰 You did get a lot of "someone else picks". I don't have that in my TBR cards, now I'm inspired to add it into my cards! TAYLOR SWIFT ENJOYERS UNITE. TEAR DROPS ON MY GUITAR WAS MY JAM. 😭 It just worked SO well in book vibes because it was in my teens. I see The Naturals though... if you want to buddy read that. It feels like a book up that's perfect for someone like me (who enjoys criminal mind stuff)

I’m 80% through and I still don’t know what to think about it 😂😬 Definitely a slow start and I’ve been confused for most of the book and considered DNF’ing it but then by the 60% mark I got more invested and now I kind of just want to finish it… Not that I’m not liking it but it’s just been a weird reading experience haha

@ I feel the exact same way!! I’m about 60% of the way in now, and I don’t know how I feel about it at all. Some things I like, but some parts are really dragging. I heard the last 20-30% is the best part of the book so I’m just trying to power through to the end, and hopefully the slow start will be worth it 😅

Yeah it’s definitely been dragging a lot… Some more intense stuff is happening now though (85% in) so I’m thinking the ending will be better!! I feel too dumb to read this book haha, or maybe it’s just not connecting with me. Kind of a letdown but it’s not over yet!
