What's the process when there's interior beams to dig?
@Digginok

I usually dig a couple of perimeter sides and then dig the interior footer and finish the other sides last.

Hello ! Nice job ! Never seen someone as good on a backhoe. But at digging house footings like this, or larger, how do you pass over ditches with the backhoe ? Without destroying ditches banks ? Easy to do with tracked excavator but with your backhoe ? I’ve just purchased a 13ton wheeled excavator and I still wonder how to dig footings with it, for that reason. You have weels too, not as much pressure on ground as mine, but still difficult to pass over ditches. Thank you a lot if you can answer my question ? 😅
@Digginok

It’s really easy with the backhoe, the wide stabilizer and front bucket make a stabile platform for digging. Thanks for watching, and have a look at this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6vCppKjlqiBr7M

@@Digginok thank you ! stable yes, i just seen how you Slide the back part of machine Over a ditch using the bucket plus stabilizers, but how do you pass over it fully ? Slide it by the rear pulling the whole machine with hoe perpendicular to the ditch ? Then when front wheels reach the bank, lift the front bucket at bit and finish the move ?

I’ve always heard grading was a nightmare with a backhoe. I’ve tried myself with a JD 310c and it sucked. I’m thoroughly impressed with your skill, but does a motor grader or newer GPS equipped dozer ever have to come behind you to do finish grade?
@Digginok
@Digginok 5 жыл бұрын
I rough graded the sand on this job, the plumber will be Digging through it anyway. I have built pads for house add on’s and some barn pads without needing a dozer or grader. I do use a laser level , and can get most stuff pretty close. I have heard it said “the backhoe can do everything but nothing well”, I challenge that statement. A good operator can do anything very well with a backhoe. Thanks for watching!

Digginok do you mount a laser receiver on the loader? I guess you just gotta go slow, I have so much dang wheel bounce.

I do have a magnet mount I can use in the front too. Take it slow until you get comfortable, speed comes later.

Hey mate, I got a question. Why do you have teeth like that, sorry not you, the bucket! Haha! Wider at the base than where they join the main part of the bucket?

Lol! The flared teeth clean the bottom cleaner. Works similar to a smooth edge, but I can still use tiger teeth for rock if needed.

Cheap and for friends. Did a lot of them. Usually lost money on them or you might say I paid to do the job. I have neighbors that have asked and I point to the rental place that you can almost see from the house anymore. If I got paid for all the free jobs I would have money instead I so broke I can't even pay attention anymore.
