@stuffnuns4 жыл бұрын
Your 3rd measurement of the blur was 8p because you measured at horizontal/180° instead of 45°. Easy to do when one is demo’ing. You might want to throw in a text popup re that. Otherwise, I am very grateful for this, cause you are right, the “shake” function is not great - slow and unsatisfactory results. Your workaround is brilliant! I wish I had this a year ago, I could have saved several “in the moment” images. .

@Project_25014 жыл бұрын
There is even a more easy fix. Ever duplicated a layer set to overlay and then accidentally moved it a couple of pixels? It creates an effect very similar to motion blur - so you just need to kinda reverse the effect. So take blurred image and duplicate layer, set it to overlay and move it against the direction of the blur and it should sharpen it. It has its limitations though, so don't expect it to work on totally blurred images. Give it a try and don't forget to crop the whole image by a few pixels or you will have the edge of the shifted layer on the sides.

I don't know how long a tutorial would be to have a really firm understanding of all the various aspects of photoshop, but I would pay for it. Whether it's 100 hours...whatever. I regularly watch the video and get the steps on how to accomplish something, but what exactly each one of those steps is doing doesn't always get much detail. That's what I'm looking. I know this would be a massive undertaking....again...I would pay.

*To avoid this, you should place your shutter speed on your camera over 250, or faster, just be aware that you should have good lightning to avoid the picture coming dark and noisy, or use a full frame camera that can shoot high ISO with no problem. **_CAPTURE MORE PICTURE AND SPEND LESS TIME IN PHOTOSHOP._** This is a scenario that will happens very often.*

Do you have any tutorials on how to photograph slow moving objects at night? for example an old ship coming into a Harbor. I photographed An old freighter coming into the Channel and to get it properly illuminated I shot at 1/2 sec. exposure at 2000 iso at f2.8 I’m using a Nikon D850. the lens that I used that night was the Sigma art 14 to 24 2.8 Most of the shots were at the 24 mm. The results varied on each shot, But there is some amount of focus blur and motion blur in almost every shot. Would appreciate any suggestions. thank you very much for your videos they are a great help. Larry
@interestedinstuff5 жыл бұрын
I would go higher with your ISO. Don't bother with noise reduction. Then in Photoshop, duplicate the layer and set it to screen. Do this a couple of times and you'll be amazed at the look of the shot. There is nothing you can do about blur if your exposure is too long. Another option is to stack your shots. Take several, then stack them. When objects are a long way off, longer exposures aren't as much of an issue. I've shot at 1/15 of a second for far off objects. Then I duplicate the layer and set it to screen. I hope that helps. The environment will always ultimately constrain what you can do.

if you're making a video about photoshop - or i'm searching a video about photoshop: It applies that I, and others, have at least, a basic knowledge of the program at hand. By taking the time to repeat how you say motion blur, and by doing things like explaining that a pixel is a digital unit of measurement you lose alot of the people who would watch your video. I came here to learn how to "fix motion blur" not the introductory lessons of "how to computer for dummies". You don't teach an advanced racing course, starting with the basics of 10 and 2 principles right??
@Dartheomus2 жыл бұрын
This is really awesome, but unfortunately it's not working for me. I had a similar motion blur that I measured at 8-9 pixels. When I followed this method, it created a double edge. For example, every single hair became two individual hairs with the blur removed from in between the two end points. I tried adjusting all the variables, but nothing worked. It's a shame, because my example looked almost identical to the one that you present. I will say that the zoomed out picture is improved. It just looks weird if you zoom in.
