This video drew me in from the start with that vibrant hedge of 'Big Band' hydrangeas. (Who am I kidding? I am drawn to any of your videos.) I just bought three violet-colored hydrangeas that come in the blue can 🤭 They we're to replace the ones I planted last year because those didn't make it. I upsized hoping the bigger root ball would give them a fighting chance during our freezing winters in Minneapolis. The first one I picked up (groan) was so big it filled the entire bottom shelf of the cart. Yeah, these should survive. I'll get them planted tomorrow and water them in well and mulch. I think last year I didn't give them enough time to adjust to their new home. So glad you had wonderful weather while in the upper Midwest. You're probably already home as I write. I look forward to adding to my hydrangea collection with that 'Puffer Fish.'

Where did you hear this? I just bought 3 Quickfire and 1 Little Quickfire. Usually that means there's an issue and they've made a new improved version. That's a bummer to hear considering how much I paid for them. I also bought BoBos Limelights, Little Limes, and Little Lime Punch. Hummm

I love rose of sharon, but is there a variety that does not get so tall? I would like something that is more rounded and only goes to about 5 ft. tall. Am I looking for something that does not exist? Would I be better off using something else that is a similar size?
