Years before watching this channel I honestly believed my hanging baskets were only supposed to live for 6 - 8 weeks! I didn't understand the importance of fertilizing until I started watching this channel! My neighbors all thought I had a green thumb back then too. Lol! I've come so far! Thanks Jenny & Jerry!!!

Great informative video!! Thank you!! Could you do a video on annuals that do not like to be fertilized? I don't fertilize my Vincas, Sun Patients and Dahlias with weekly water soluble fertilizer..Was always told they don't like to be fertilized. They have always done well. Would be nice to have a list of annuals not to fertilize..

I've named certain days of the week by the task I need to do on that day . ie; fertilizer Friday , weeding Wednesday, sadistic Sunday ( I look for bugs and snails then I take care of them ☠) , mowing Monday ... lol, it really helps me remember . Happy Gardening 👩🌾

I went to Target and bought dog food container. A large bag of Tone fits in them. I have a Proven Winner empty container in each one. Kind of like what Jenny uses. Years ago i seen Jack Barnwell video on fertilizing. Think Jenny visited him on Mackinac Island. He uses PW on his annuals but also uses pump spayer to hit whole plant plus underside of leaves. Been three years and plants look good every year.

Even though I’ve been gardening for a very long time & know I should be fertilizing 🙄 🫢…..but after watching this I’ve learned what & how ! Making a batch in a 5 gallon bucket, duh, why didn’t I think of that 🤦♀️ Also I loved that B 🐾 walked right in front of the camera when you were trying to show a plant 😂😂😂

Have you looked into some thing like Laura on garden answer has? Mix up the water and fertilizer, and it’s on wheels attached to one of their carts.

Perfect for me today. Planting a bunch of annuals in containers today and just thinking about fertilizers and feeling a little confused about them. -to ably one of the best things you said is “read the bag”. Gonna go do that right now.

I was always afraid to use water soluble fertilizer if it had been raining so much because I don't want the plants to get root rot with the adding of more water. I'm guessing I should do it anyways?

They don’t allow phosphorus fertilizers in Virginia. As a result, I can’t use the PW flower fertilizers. Do you have any suggestions for other fertilizers?

Hi there Jenny: I always buy blueberries at the grocery store but they don't look like yours! I have clay soil here in Indiana 6B and thank you for the reminder that clay soil does hold onto water so not so bad! Love seeing your beautiful waterfall again! I was outdoors early and got alot accomplished today & will be outside again tomorrow to plant hydrangea's and won;t forget to apply rose tone. Thank you for all of your knowledge & sharing the beauty of your gardens.

Jenny and Jerry thank you so much for what all y'all do at creekside and especially for us North Carolina gardeners we have learned so much for watching yall❤.... We thought when we saw plant tone when we first started watching yall quite a while ago and it is amazing stuff 🥳 but discovering the biotone is a game changer we started using that last year oh my gosh it made such a huge difference anybody out there on the fence about using it you'll be amazed because we've always done water soluble fertilizer Epsom salt compost but the plant tone and the biotone 🤯 mind blowing!!!!!!!! Y'all are wonderful ❤ we wish you all the best from yalls Eastern neighbors in Johnston county NC 🙋🥂❤️💐
