This was filmed and uploaded a few months ago, during flea season. I forgot to post it so I'm doing that now since it could be useful information for someone. More new videos coming soon. Still in the process of wrapping up 2024.

Something about putting the pill on a hand towel and covering it with some sort of wet food/treat is more successful than putting it on a plate as well.

Happy New Year everyone! Very clever how Splash managed to eat the treat without the pill the first time. I think the second time the pill had become too soft in his mouth to separate.

I remember doing something like that for my feral girl who I could never force a Capstar on. And before that it was for some thyroid tablets for a different semi-feral girl. I would break them into quarters so it would be a smaller piece and easier to hide and put them inside of several soft treats and she would eat them. It's best to wait and do before feeding when they're hungry. I don't remember what soft treats I was using, but I also did that covering over, like using putty to cover a hole. Ah, good times. Luckily, my cats didn't get any fleas this last summer.

Good boys, Simba and Splash! I really thought that Splash would end up not taking it. My experience with cats is that once they get a little inkling of something in the food that you want them to take, like medicine, they are done...lol. I am glad it worked out, but it is so very frustrating at times. Happy New Year to all!

We use The Laughing Cow Creamy Cheese Wedges to hide pills in for our dog. He swallows it whole. I wonder if it would work for the kitties? I’ve never heard of the Churu Bites. This is a good idea! Thank you! Peace & blessings! Happy New Year! 🐈⬛❤️🙏✝️

I haven't seen the Churu bites. (I wonder why they are only marketed for dogs?) Anyway, if it will help get a pill into a cat it is worth a try. Thanks for letting us know!

Bingo! This is a far better method to pill a cat. Please just don't use those pill 'shooters'. I told my vet I didn't want pills for my cat and of course she disagreed........................my cat choked to death.
