Go to Tango class every week, even if uni is getting hard. Learning to tango in BA is a huge huge bucket list item. Do not take this opportunity for granted. When you look back, you will regret not having gone every week for four months. I wish you had a friend that could go with you every week.

Jade, i have to get this out of my system because i feel like you and all the people watching this channel can relate... I started watching you yeeeaaars ago and you have ALWAYS been one of my biggest role models. For a long time, I couldn't watch your videos because i always felt bad about myself because i compared myself to YOU, this productive, disciplined, kind, gentle, social, brave person. You know what's the craziest thing about it though? Right now, i'm sitting in my dorm room, at the University of York (UK), having finished a late big breakfast. I'm doing a term abroad, I come from Austria!! I NEVER would have believed i'm brave and tough enough to do this. It's the hardest thing I've ever done and after this very challenging first week i just hope it gets better. Everytime I remember leaving my parents and my boyfriend behind at the airport, i just bawl by eyes out uncontrollably (like now hahah). It hurts so much to miss my boyfriend of six years, we basically grew up into adults together. I simply hope to create bonds with a few people, because i feel like all the other british freshers connected INSTANTLY. Luckily, there are so many international students who i can talk and relate to much easier. This is a crazy ride and i just hope i come back on the other side alive and maybe even a better person, whatever that means. Jade, you are a wonderful RADIANT woman and I will look up to you forever.

Hey Rici! Just wanted to say that I hope you have an incredible time in York 💕 I know how alienating it feels when all of the others seem to connect instantly. Do you know if there are any international (or very niche) associations? That's a great way of meeting some people :) I'm sure once you're settled a bit more you'll find a few people you click with, and you'll definitely come out of the experience having learned so much about yourself! Anyhow, I just wanted to say that it's such a brave things to move abroad, especially when it makes you uncomfortable. You're a star, keep going and you'll get to where you want to be ✨

Something we, Argentinian people know well, is siesta time, if you go outside from capital a lot of shops close at 13:00 and open at 17:00 for lunch and siesta, and I stand by that, a little inconvenient, but it forces you to either take a deep breath and wait or walk more to get to an open store, it makes you think if you really want that chocolate at 15:00, if it's worth

it felt so good entering the balanced-productivity bubble with this video. I have been feeling anxious the last few days because I am on Erasmus and I feel very pressured because I think people expect me to have the best time, socialise and party a lot, like many people I know are doing right now. I have other interests and watching your videos I feel like I am not missing out but rather gaining a different but equally worthy experience. Holding on to values and preferences while being curious and trying new things is my way to go and you help me to stop comparing. You really are a role model :)

Having been an overly academic person in the past I've resolved to find a balance in my life and you are inspiring me to find ways to do that, so thank you. Also, I absolutely love Insight Timer! It's been a life changing app and helped make meditation a part of my life. I've also been considering approaching the counselor that I am so lucky my college provides, to help with my mental health and finding myself, and you mentioning therapy here was just the sign I needed to go ahead and do that. Thank you for the positivity and good juju. I really am grateful for you. Sending love 💗

Watching this as an Argentinian makes me feel... Weird... Like, this girl is living the dream Argentinian lifestyle without all the problems we have that actually makes all the teenagers I know wanting to move out or "scape" Argentina. All the economical/political/social situation that makes me feel so tense. I would like you to educate yourself, not only about our culture (that I completely appreciate it!) But also the situation we are living in, not only in Buenos Aires but in the rest of the country because that's our reality sadly. Also, I would recommend you to take Folklore class instead of tango class (or both of you like it) maybe this will surprise you but tango is not that much present in our culture. Also, did you learn about our history during the six military coups that Argentina had? I recommend you to read about it, it's just a really interesting story. A movie that I recommend you to watch it's called "La noche de los lápices" it's a real story about uni students during the last military coup. Another thing, did you realized that you're gonna spend Christmas in summer? Crazy isn't it??? Make sure to eat all the pan dulce, confites, mantecol, turrón... I hope you don't end up the year wanting to scape the shit out of here (this is a typical Argentinian joke lol) and keep enjoying queen 🥰

Hey Jade! So I started watching your videos relatively recently, from your time in Berlin actually. But I consider you one of my main role-models. Your verve for life helps contrast my extremely pessimistic view of life. I'm not there yet where I can see life with the magic you see it with, but I'm slowly trying to identify my approach to the magic. Thanks so much. Also your ability to love your work and put in the hardwork is something I'm trying to learn being an extremely lazy student in school and the beginning years of college. I basically wanted to say thank you.

well done for the catnap bit.....Mind you in some climates midday naps are essential to survive the day. In some other places it is fresh enough to be able to go through the whole day without it if needed. when I lived in UK it was easy not to nap. In Greece during summer it is much needed...

Even though I do agree that everyone would benefit from therapy, at the moment with more and more people using it, a lot of people that actually need it don’t get a space. In my area so many people are using therapy now, and my friend who’s been to hospital and day clinic because of her mental health needs to wait up to 6 months for a spot now. Hey Jade would you mind to make a video about how you make nice people to be your actual friends and how you just invite them over I guess? Maybe you know what I mean.. More info but not necessary: I developed a more extroversional side in the last months. I started a new life at a new city and my college mates are really nice but I still don’t have deep friendships, no one to tell how my day went (except my family). I’m going to invite some over I think - even if it’s out of my comfort zone. it would be very helpful to get some tips of you :D (I. E. Better meet as group or as two…)

(0:38) hi there - Mate is actually a traditional tea from the Guaraní people and was drunken way before the coloniser's invasion of South America. They used to live in what today is Brasil, Paraguai, Uruguai and Argentina (and that is why it is still common in some regions of these countries). Depending on where you are from, it's more common to drink it iced or hot. So technically, it is not Argentinian tea :)

Not criticizing. But something to keep in mind when you read about " learning model" studies.... Have the authors of the research you read about taught in regular classrooms for 4 years at least? it takes four years on average for teachers to start to feel they are effective teachers in the classroom. I think if researchists had taught at a school for five years, the research would be a lot more powerful. Otherwise, the study is more of a solid hypothesis, very different when you apply research to 35 young students of different backgrounds. just a thought. ❤❤❤
