I've had derealisation/depersonalisation disorder since about 8 years old, it really is hard, but what helps me is to walk barefoot in the grass and connect with the earth and also to do things that give me an adrenaline rush and also just focusing intensely on what it is I'm doing at any given time and the feeling usually passes or becomes easier to manage. Thank you for touching on this!

Omlet Pospolity the dream like part is right, but it’s more like you feel like you’re just a passenger in someone else’s body, like it’s not to your body, not you face and even your voice sometimes can sound like it’s not yours. thank u for touching on the subject of disassociation. I am one who experiences disassociation on the daily, rarely feeling out of that foggy, out in space feeling, due to my borderline personality disorder and my anxiety/negative feelings I associate with my trauma. it truly is so hard to get yourself out of disassociation, so much so that when I do feel more connected I have to ask myself "is this normal". its a struggle to get out of it and maybe something we, as people who experience it, will never fully be out of. but anywho im proud of u and ur recovery!

I know for a fact that alcohol can and most likely will causes flares. I've never felt as bad as I did in July and between that and embarrassing drunk moments throughout life I haven't had a craving. I love Native deodorant! I don't find that it helps with wetness (I sweat a moderate amount, especially if I'm cold which is dumb but I've made my peace with it), but it DOES help with the smell, so much. I used to use clinical strength deodorant, and then I tried switching to natural that I could buy from the grocery store, but it would always wear off so fast and I would start to smell again after 2-3 hours. Native stays fresh pretty much the whole day, unless I've been sweating a lot (like right now in the summer). Plus it stays soft so that your skin isn't rubbing/chaffing, and feels quite moisturizing. And they just came out with paper packaging, which I'm super excited to try. I would totally recommend, although it is pretty expensive, I'm happy buying it since it works!

When I get disassociated, it's usually pretty strong. I'm grateful that it doesn't happen too often, but that's probably why they're strong episodes when it does happen. I'll let it run its course for a bit, and then take some deep breaths and listen to music. Or if I'm out in public, it's just deep breaths and I try to focus on my surroundings. It doesn't always work, but usually if I just let it run its course it goes away.

Just saying love if you're using makeup and skincare (which i do and personally love) we eventually are putting up chemicals in our body in a minor way, so avoiding on perfumes/deodorant won't make a big difference. I just believe spiritualism doesn't necessarily have to do with going all natural and shifting towards early man life lol because that's what people are interpreting from the path of spirituality. yes we want to stay connected to the ground and nature but it's totally okay to enjoy a soft feminine part of materialism that makes you feel like a goddess, it's okay!💋💕✨
