Hey Rick Pollet! Well, I just figured out that you know my grandpa, Jerry Fraser. I think you know him and I just wanted to say I’m a huge fan and great hunt! Thanks for giving me great tips and tricks about coyote hunting and I’d love to see you take out some more coyotes in Clay center!

Hello I've been enjoying your videos binge watching them all night. I've noticed something about your channel... you have not made playlists of your videos. Making a few of those playlisys could help boost your watch times and get people binge watching like I did with last Stand season 1 and 2. Have a good one guys👍👍

What tripod is that on your call? Been looking for a better one to replace the factory stand on my Revolt. The one you're using looks perfect.

I'd love to go on a successful coyote hunt with you all here in N.M. in a small community called Torrreon. I'm sure y'all would have a good time killing predators . Ranchers and property owners are having a hard time with coyotes.

How far are you aiming ahead of those dogs in the scope? I never can get them on the run.
@GeoffNemnich4 жыл бұрын
Just really depends on lots of variables...angle, distance, running speed, etc. Most people probably dont lead a running coyote far enough. These particular coyotes on this vid were just several foot leads...but sometimes I will get runners with 20-25 ft leads if they are out a bit further!

Pup distresses and coyote fights!

@@GeoffNemnich I have a follow up question to his question, why would Pup distresses and fights draw them in over rabbit calls? Former coyote hunter with hounds here going modern here lol
@GeoffNemnich4 жыл бұрын
@@wayneholmes9081 the coyote sounds trigger a different instinct in the coyotes...usually a more aggressive response or a response when rabbit calls dont work because theyve heard that sound before

I love these vids guys! New subscriber here for sure. Would love to see you guys test some heavier grain 5.56 on some of these hunts 65-77 particularly. I figure since the .125” throat difference between 223 and 5.56 effects chamber pressure, I suspect that DDMK12 is losing velocity and potentially underperforming its’ ballistic potential. I know it’s a rifle length system so there are fewer issues but I’m just curious to see how they might work for you out at 250-300 yards
@GeoffNemnich2 жыл бұрын
The 53s I run are definitely a better bullet for coyotes than the heavier 60-70s IMO. Plus that mk12 shoots them in sub 1/2" groups! Running about 3050 out the muzzle

@@GeoffNemnich I’ve done some learning since I made this comment. Thanks for schooling me Geoff. I’ve been on pest coyotes in Ohio for 2 months now and I’ve toyed with different rounds. Ended up running your 53 idea and the lighter round has worked really well for me. Cheers and thanks for the tip!

Clearly you do not understand coyote hunting! I've been shooting a 5.56 at coyotes since '04...how bout you??
@nickthomas95433 жыл бұрын
CoyoteCrazeVideos I hunt terrorist with the 5.56 out past 500 yard it doesn’t hold terminal velocity well. As evident bt key holes. The you could choose a better round. 22-250 or 243
