We use Ortlieb panniers here in Europe, they are superstrong, waterproof and most importantly, they keep the weight low to the ground. Which provides a steady bike even when heavily loaded

When I start bikepacking, definitely going to stay at KOAs or RV parks. Lots of awesome overnights I will be able to do from El Paso.
