Omg that's prettier than I imagined! I remember when you posted about this on your IG, but I didn't realize it was a pretty shimmer like that. It is the perfect gold for Kaweco, almost an ethereal looking - I imagine a fairy writing with this vibe. Sorry not sorry! 😂 It's a beautiful shimmery transparent gold. The camera couldn't pick up the softness of this gold. What a great idea to do a sparkly kaweco. I hope they do another sparkly pen! 🤩

Idk if you follow seemownay’s channel, but she recently did a video called “My Fountain Pen Year in Review, Stats, Insights” where she breaks down all of the fountain pens that she bought in 2022 and what she learned about her preferences. I’m not sure if you’re planning to do a fountain pen wrap up video like this, but I would love to see it! You’re one of my favorite creators that I found this year and I really love your style. I just received my purchase of this pen today! It's gorgeous! I ordered the fine nib. I have the stub nib in the 1.1 and the 1.5 in the Kaweco Coconut body with different pen clips. How do you like the sailor pen and which one was it? I saw a muted pink one at cult pens and a yellow one they look great. Think it's a pro gear not a slim and I've never tried it.

@@toxmot The one I got is a pale blue one with silver trim. Morning mist I think it’s called. I’m a silver trim type of person 😅 I only have a Pilot Custom 74 to compare it to in terms of gold nibs and the Sailor definitely has a teeny bit more feedback which I love.

I know I have too many kaweco pens but this I couldn't pass up. I'm getting such a kick out of these sparkly fountain pens. Are sparkles your thing or do you prefer non sparkle?

@@toxmot I have one Benu pen with sparkles. I do find sparkles really pretty, but then when I have money and am going to purchase something I find that I generally end up getting non-sparkly things.

They still had them in stock, but I didn’t want to pay 20$ shipping to the US. I’ll hope it comes to jet pens

The Gold Kaweco is an exclusive pen to Cultpens so other retailers will not have it. If you order more items then it would make more sense, but yeah just getting the one kaweco doesn’t offset the shipping fee.

They have a maroon kaweco sport, have you seen it? It's not sparkly though.

Examining the Cult Pens website, the Kaweco calligraphy nibs are the ones with the curlicue stamping, but their picture of the stub nib doesn't have that stamping. I'm wondering if you got the right nib, or if there's variations, or if it's the same product that they listed as different things with no actual difference? The product codes are different on Cult Pens, but when I go to the Kaweco online store, there's no stubs for sale, only the calligraphy nibs.

Sorry I missed this message. I do not know if Kaweco makes all nibs available outside of the UK. Maybe it’s only available in UK through certain retailers.
