Hello Lucia, your new video was just great and I always find it fantastic what a great nose you always have for finding the real treasures. I wanted to let you know that you are right with your guess. The papers you have found are primarily documents and tickets relating to a crossing from Hamburg and New York. Incidentally, the letters are written in old German script, which only very few people in Germany can still read. I am one of them, as I studied history and have a soft spot for old documents. If your friend in Germany can't read the old German script, I will be happy to help you with the documents. All you need to do is send me good photos of the documents. I would then send you the translation back by e-mail, but you would have to allow me a little time for the translation. Best regards from Germany Jasmin

After that, if you'd like to learn more about the person (or people) who bought the ticket, I'm quite good at this kind of detective work. (I developed these skills doing genealogies.) I could probably find their descendants for you if you'd like them to have all of this.
