This is one of those rare scary movies that are actually good, as a critic. This and Hereditary. There is a Spanish film I believe was called Veronica. Plenty of low budget films from the early 2010s if you like that stuff. It Follows is my favorite.

The haunted house shocker in the style of the “Poltergeist” films by “Saw” creator James Wan makes your blood run cold. Terrific creepy atmosphere.

Great reaction! I love this movie; Annabelle has her own movie that is really good. I love scary movies, then always sleep with the light on for a week. Happy New Years and God bless both of you and your families.

Hi guys, I have to tell you that this movie is loosely based on the true story. I have 2 books from one of the girls in the family who wrote the autobiographies. This girl, Andrea Perron, grew up and wanted the public to know what went on. It is a true story that they bought a haunted farmhouse and lived there for 10 years. They couldn't just move out because they paid all the money they had for it. The "witch" Bathsheba, was never connected to their haunting. Their haunting came from many spirits probably because I think this house was built in the 1700s, so generations of families lived there, one soul who hanged herself in the barn as an older woman liked the woman's husband and children, so she haunted the wife for many years. There were good souls and maybe a few bad ones, but Annabelle and the so called witch were never involved in the true story. Besides, the woman who was called a witch was never proven to be one, and of course living in that time if you were even called a witch you were shunned by everyone in town. It made Bathsheba miserable and it wasn't fair to her. And in the old days, there were no good witches, all witches were considered evil and were always thought to worship the devil, even though this is not true. Lorraine and Ed Warren did show up to help with the haunting though. Lorraine was, I believe Catholic and a very gifted psychic. Her husband, Ed, was a wonderful demonologist. They have both passed on, but their legacy remains powerful. Peace and love, Angela♥️💐

The sisters said it was much worse than what the movie showed. After watching something this scary, you need to watch something funny this will release your stress and help calm your mind.
