A spine tumor patient walks again - UF Health Neurosurgery

Sheila Lawless thought her back pain was due to the physical requirements of her job. Even after a change in careers, her pain only got worse and eventually she became bedridden. The doctors at the UF Health Neuroscience Institute in Jacksonville, Florida, identified a tumor wrapped around her spine. Neurosurgeon Dr. Daryoush Tavanaiepour was able to remove the tumor and today, Sheila back on her feet.

I can definitely relate to her story i started having back pain and still am. In 2018 i went to the hospital for an mri on my spine and they later told me that i had a tumor in my spine so i had two surgeries and after my second surgery I couldnt walk for a while so i needed physical therapy and i was so miserable and sad from being homesick so afterwards on july 31 2018 i was finally able to go home and i still do exercises for my left leg so i hope anyone reads this about my story too
