Man this looks great, there is a ton of references... I knew about this game but didn't know there was a ton of characters to watch out for! That break dancer looked like that australian teacher from the olympics!

@06:24 Danger Mouse & Penfold! 😀 Cool vid Rob! I've not seen this but love all the 80's stuff in it. I'm not normally a fan of these indie auto scroll games like kids today are but this Paper Boy style looks like it works better for it. Paper Boy was cool on Lynx indeed, and Genesis/Megadrive but I thought NES Paper Boy looked meh, that blood red and black gives it an Adams Family vibe. 😂 Cheers Rob! 👍

I remember renting PaperBoy on the NES and being absolutely terrible at it. Really needed a manual for this rental because I couldn’t quite figure out what I was doing. Also, I always thought the guy on the ground was breakdancing or something. But pulling on pants makes way more sense! VideoKid appears to improve on everything I do not particularly enjoy about the original PaperBoy. And wow, it’s a retro love letter for sure. I would want to play the game at 1/4 speed if I could just to take in all the sights. Thanks for sharing!

Such a fun and addicting game. I love playing as Cookie Monster or as he's called on here Biscuit Guzzler 😂 I love all the references too and some of them change on each play. Great game.

Very Cool. I must get this. Is it Switch only? I owned Paperboy on the Apple //. Not a fan of that one, but the arcade was cool. Thanks again for another surprise game I'd never seen.

No my friend it’s multi-platform and only $5, and yes I think the arcade port is pretty amazing! The Lynx port is prob just more sentimental to me, I’m glad this was new to someone! Always my goal on here, thank you as always for watching! We will see you tonight!!!

The gameplay looks fairly good, but it's completely overshadowed by the insane quantity of references! Seeing Doctor Who was enough of a surprise, my jaw hit the floor when DM and Penfold appeared too! Good grief! 😂 Now I can't help but wonder if there's a Thunderbirds reference too 🤔. Thanks for another chill video Rob! Btw, did something happen to your mic? Doesn't sound quite as good as usual
