Finally the Base Coat is done. First time I tried Metallics like Alclad... Looking forward to my first bare metal winged aircraft!

It's masking your final color coat that lifts it seem to be my issue on ocassion.

Did you use Tamiya lacquer thinner for Mr Hobby Aqueous? How did you find the Alclad metalizers, are they fragile?

Hi Leon, short question, do you use a seperate airbrush for the alclad metalic paints? This question just came up now as I was habing a hard time cleaning some Mr Hobby silver from my harder&steenbeck gun. Many thanks, 500 subscribers are at the next corner. Keep up the good work

You didn't mention if you had protected the Alclad with a varnish,if so, what did you use?
