A spoon full of lube makes you gimbal slide smooth

Yes, I made a Mary Poppins joke and no, do not use a spoon full of lube on your radio. If you have a Radiomaster pocket, or any other radio for that matter and want the sticks to feel smoother or less floppy, lubricating or damping oil may be your answer!

I was impressed by the change, I never thought lubricanting a plastic friction joint would make it feel so good

you shouldn't just let your stick go to return to center try moving it back manually. the lubricating oil is for gimbal bearings/moving parts and the dampening oil for throttle. but if it feels better how you have it then so be it.

You are 100% correct, I was over generalizing where you should use what. You are also right that if it works, it works. I did use the damping grease on the throttle to make it both smoother and sit in the right spot. And used the lubricant on the bearings and put a little on the tension springs to try and get a smoother feel on the pitch, roll, and yaw axis. I have no idea the long term ramifications of a lubricant on the plastic, but I will be taking it apart in about a month and will report back what I find
