A very special upload today. Thank you. I lost my fishing buddy in April of 2023 and March 8th is his birthday. We watched and related to your videos for quite some time. Sometimes together while chatting through the adventure and sometimes sharing after the fact over the phone. While your videos are not about lifestyle or anything of the such, it doesn't take much to figure out that we live similarly. To most importantly include a love for the Lord. Your concluding verses always have an impact. So, for you to post Corinthians 15:51 today, of all days, it brought me to my knees. By His death and resurrection, he has truly set us free! Natural death is not the end and, I will selfishly reunite with my fishing buddy again. That fishing buddy is my dad.

Yep that's spring fishing in a nutshell brother. You had to really grind it out for 5 fish but that speaks to your nature. You stuck with it. Blessings John

In Lake Lanier we have some larger spots, and I think they fight like smallies. My father-in-law laughed at me until he caught a two pounder. He agrees the spots in the lake will give the smallies a run for their money. A five pound spot is an experience.

@creekfishingadventures I've zoomed in on what I believe is either your paddle holder or is it a rod holder? Or maybe you use it as both? I dig your channel and can't wait myself to get out and do some Smallmouth fishing too. I believe I'll be doing exactly that,this week as it is warming up here in NEMO and will finally be in the mid 70's this coming week.

I know you like spinner baits but how about an underspin?
@CreekFishingAdventures10 ай бұрын
i used it in the tournament, i have been using them more recently, they have done ok so far
@TD402dd10 ай бұрын
I would never tell a person how to fish, but I would ditch the spinning reel and use the bait caster 100% of the time. Big fish normally come on big baits, and in the spring I used spinnerbaits with a chartreuse trailer. Just saying for 30+ years, that was my most successful lure for large fish.
