A Squirrel in a Pretzel Jar, it is HIS!

Hi guys, a new male has come into my backyard lately. Watch him as he defends the jar for over 45 minutes. Them noises he was making had to be loud in there.

A Hoosier here, they seem to say "suck suck suck squirrel". The first sounds are short but the last word is drawn out, hence the name. So I call it squirrel cussing. I wonder is that is where their name comes from like chippy with their cardinal like piping.

Love the outsider squirrel that has a tantrum! The little black squirrel knows it’s fruitless (nutless). My dog was pestering me for his bedtime dental treat until I put on this video. I have serious concerns for the safety of my tv when WE watch these.

Hi Terry. These are the red fox squirrel. They were. I've watched squirrels for years, and never heard these sounds until I started putting my cameras out there close up. It's loud! And thank you : )

If rats and mice were given a cute tail, maybe people would think they, too, are darling and start feeding them and making videos of them instead of trying to EXTERMINATE THEM. Heck, maybe I'll get a tail and act all cutesy, maybe I'll get some free food and people will let me live in a tree in their back yards. There's a Mouse living our my basement, where I have my bedroom and (s)he is isolated as no other mice can get in. Very cute, so I feed it cause there is no other food to be gotten. It better not get pregnant and proliferate, otherwise, I'll deport them!
