Great review. If dirt is routine for you, it’s hard to ignore the Gladiator.

Too right. You don't need ridiculous power to rock crawl. It is just the performance sedan guy that I alternate with that still wants to go fast. HP is beotch.

Hey, thanks for checking out the video! What do you think about the Gladiator Texas Trail Edition?

I have owned a Gladiator Mojave and helped my Dad navigate through his purchase of the Texas Trail Edition. I think for people who see typical Texas conditions this is a great choice. It comes with Mud Terrain tires and has a lower step height and full-length running boards. It has Texas Badging and Leather. My Dad's 2023 did not come standard with the LED lighting group or the blacked-out grill. It is a lower-cost alternative to the Mojave or Rubicon and still offers most of what is necessary to navigate all but the engineered off-road trails here in Texas. I live in North Texas and I traded my 2020 Gladiator Mojave for the 2021 Jeep 392 Extreme Recon. The Gladiator Mojave was nearly everything I wanted in a vehicle. If the Mojave would have provided an option for the 392 Hemi engine, 35-inch tires, front and rear lockers, and a sway bar disconnect...I think Jeep would have not been able to keep up with demand. Perhaps they are planning something like that in the near future. I personally think something like it or better is probably in the works. Note to date no information is available on the Gladiator upgrade. Its cousin the Wrangler JL refresh has already been announced. I think either Jeep is moving away from the JT or they have plans to upgrade it to compete with the 2024 Toyota TRD Pro and Trail Hunter who seem to grasp this market.

i would agree... if you want comfort the Gladiator isnt the truck for you. And while this gentlemen would rather get the Ranger or Colorado, you cant compare the Gladiator to either when the weather is good and are able to strip the Gladiators top/doors off. At that point, its in a class with the newer Bronco, which is alot more expensive. Im still waiting on my mpg to reach the 17/22 range, im still at 16mpg (purchased 1,500 miles ago), that would be my only complaint with the Gladiator so far.

Total downer, could have guess from your demeanor you weren't a fan of the Gladiator. A little more upbeat review for us Gladiator owners, that texas edition was sweet! Minus the 7" touch screen. You really didn't go into detail on its features at all. Lame review, just saying...
