There's a much easier way doing this for the people that don't have Rappa and can't do her trial. Go to ornament extraction and borrow a Rappa there, it's much more spacious, you won't accidentally go out of the zone, and the enemy won't chase after you compare to stagnant shadow

For those who miss trial character, just go to divergent simulated and borrow rappa
