Wow, what a parade of beautiful work! Thank you for reinforcing for us Americans how serious this is. I think too many people here are still taking it too lightly.

Ingeborg. Your Turkish Delight and In Praise of the Needle finishes are absolutely stunning! They will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face every time you see them hanging on your walls. Thank you for sharing that Iznik and Delft Pottery pattern book recently. I got it from Amazon and am happily stitching the cover design now. I also brought it along on a stitch retreat right before we all were ordered to hibernate, and I know at least one other stitcher ordered it, too. Be well, my friend.

Your finishes are beautiful! You could pick a Modern Folk Embroidery chart for your left over blue silk. So many to choose from. Have fun gaming til you get your stitchy bug back.

It's great to see you. Your framed projects look fantastic! The Lindy Stitches piece is so colorful. It makes me smile. That's a good one too lift your spirits. She has some great designs. This year's market had so many wonderful designs to choose from that it was hard to decide what to buy. I bought Summer Squirrel by Blue Flower as I've stitches two of the other seasons. I'm trying to finish some WIPs before buying more. Today, I'm stitching the small sampler from Prairie Schooler May. I find it's fun to stitch Prairie Schooler designs. I have Satsuma's Forest to start soon. I'm glad that I have cross stitch to focus on during this trying time. Take care and stitch on!

take care Doreen! I've not seen a lot from market, but i did catch some of Tracy's designs (Ink CIrcles) and they were very tempting :) But as I said my budget was already blown lol. I"m sure she'll still have some in stock in a few months.

Hi Ingeborg, Glad to see a video from you. Sorry you've been struggling with your stichy bug. I was interested to hear how things were going in the Netherlands regarding Covid 19. Things are strange here. Some people are taking it seriously and others are not. Most of the needlework shops have shut down but are sending packages if you order from them. Haus Tirol is closed but they sent some of my market haul to keep me well supplied with stash. It helps to keep spirits up during the stress. Don't feel bad about your brain lapses today. Almost everyone I know is having the same trouble. The worry and stress, even subconsciously, is affecting people here in the same way. I've had a few scary nightmares, which I never have, and I know it's dealing with all of these unknown factors that have suddenly appeared in our lives. Stay well and don't be so hard on yourself. We're all human, doing the best we can.

We still have people that don't take it seriously enough, but it's getting better. We've had a really nice sunny weekend and so far as I can tell in my area people still remained indoors. Please stay safe and do what you feel is right We're just at the start of this thing. But we'll get through this, and we have stitching to keep us sane :) x

Hi Ingeborg, beautiful beautiful finishes! I am very sorry your family members are suffering from COVID and wish for full recovery. My company ordered all office workers to work from home from the end of February, as there are many cases in Osaka, so I have been in voluntary lockdown for 3 weeks now. Working from home is difficult as you say.. the routine and lack of exercise. But I am happy to say I have my stitching and an never bored. I am appalled to see the situation worsen so quickly in EU.... for a long time I was under the impression it was just Asia. Stay well and hope to see you soon!

Hi Saho, I"m glad to hear from you. PLease take care and stay safe. I agree things were not taken seriously enough at first here. At this rate we're on the same trajectory as Italy, and let's hope the measurements taken since about a week and a half ago help steer us away from that. Stay healthy and keep stitching my friend! x

Thanks for your lovely video showing the beautiful framed pieces...I use Mary Ellen’s Best Press to solve the wrinkle problem (only spray on the back of fabric) and using stainless steel straight pins with a flat head to stretch around your foam board...Teresa at Kitten Stitcher has a video how she does this...at least a year ago before last Market...I appreciate the UTube sites on the information for the virus...be well and stay safe❣️
@AStitchTooFar4 жыл бұрын
i follow the same method, but canvas is a lot more stiff than regular stitching linen or evenweave, that's causing the issues. But i'll check out Teresa to be sure :)

Your finishes are spectacular. Do you have blue in your bedroom? I think blue and yellow are the prettiest combo of all colors. I wonder if you stitched the picture behind your head. Your husband and lover are wonderful. They match your shirt nicely. I suffer from massive brain farts. Take care of yourself.

Preach, sister!
