John P Varkey was in Jigsaw Puzzle and Avial was formed through jigsaw puzzle after they understood that they need malayalam rock songs to make a difference as they failed to make an impression at MTV.John P Varkey was one of the main member of the band Avial. John P Varkey composed the song Nada Nada which made avial 'Avial' and played guitar in the band too.

If Avial the band can be compared to a car, Anandraj Benjamin Paul was a 700 HP engine. It’s is very disappointing that he didn’t continue singing for Avial or any other band for such a long time

കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം NIT Calicut വച്ച് അവിയൽ ൻ്റേ ഒരു ലൈവ് ഷോ കണ്ട്... Vocals ശെരിക്കും painful എന്നേ പറയാൻ പറ്റൂ..ഇടക്ക് സയനോര വന്നു, കറുകറു കാർമുകിൽ പാടി..അത് മാത്രം ആയിരുന്നു ഒരു ആശ്വാസം..പിന്നെ റെക്സ് വിജയൻ്റെ യും മിഥുൻ ൻ്റെയും ഇഫർട് കൊണ്ട് അൽപ്പം സഹിക്കാൻ പറ്റി.
