J.D. Walt is the Founder and CEO of Seedbed Publishing, as well as Vice President and Dean at Asbury Theological Seminary. He worked alongside Dr. Robb, Bob Swan and Chris Tomlin at The Woodlands UMC to launch The Harvest. J.D. wears many more hats, including speaker and conference leader, author of a growing collection of books and songs, and mentor to pastors and worship leaders around the world. He has served as a pastor and teacher in the Passion movement and has been involved as a theologian with Worship Central. He writes for the popular devotional The Seedbed Daily Text and is an ordained elder in the Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. He lives in Franklin, TN with his wife and four children.
