Thanks for covering this topic. I tend to lean toward the idea that they were angels who married women and therefore the giants/nephilims came to be. Does this mean that the Philistine giant David defeated could have been a nephilim?

@@paulbibbs8086 Friend, the reason that you inserted "(pre-flood)...(post-flood)" into the text is because it does not exist therein. The text tells us twice when “those days” were, “Nephilim in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them” and when was that? Verse 1 tells us, “when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them” which could have been as early as when Adam and Eve’s children started having children. Yet, whenever those days were, after that only means that: after it began but still pre-flood. Also, the flood is not mentioned until v. 17 so reading it into v. 4 is reading ahead and then looping back rather than taking the text for what it states in the order it states it.

I appreciate your honest approach to say you're not completely sure, but lean one way or the other. Such refreshing humility. I also lean to the interpretation that the sons of God were fallen angels. Maybe Jude 6 & 7 adds another clue by mentioning the angels that left their own habitation in verse 6...and verse 7 states that the citizens of Sodom and Gomorrha sinned in a similar manner as the angels...and we know the nature of their sin.

Unlike Job 1 and 2, Where Sons of God refer to angels. . . . 1) The Earth was not created 6000 years ago . 2) In Genesis 1, the earth was probably created thousands or millions of years ago. . And this is when God created a perfect Heaven (sky) and Earth, and This earth wasnt void and deformed but it was perfect. . God always create perfect-complete things. And not deformed, void, formless. . This perfect created heaven and earth had water on it, plants, and many living things like DINOSAURS. . . 3) In Genesis 1 v 2, It says the earth was formless, void, and ''Water'' was already on earth such that the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters. . Here it shows that there is a jump of events which took place which left the earth void, formless, and polluted water, on which the Holy Spirit was hovering over, and these events are not recorded because the bible is not some history-science book. . God sets the scriptures in a such a way that it shows the most important things we need to know. To avoid distractions. So, God destroyed the first heaven(sky) and the earth killing/wiping out all dinosaurs, and all living things. That was excellent!!! I really don’t know why I have struggled with this subject so much over the past four years of hearing of it. I just want the truth! But point is, God will reveal it in its own time. I tend to lean toward pastor teaching. Not so hard to believe when you believe that Jesus is the Christ born of a virgin died & three days later risen to the Father. It’s a supernatural blessing to be able to even read the Word of God.

When we read Genesis 6:4 very carefully, the verse says, "There were giants in those days; and also after that..." This verse indicates that in "those" days (when men began to multiply on the earth) there were giants already then in the beginning as well as "after that..." So the verse would imply that there were Nephilim even before the sons of God went into the daughters of men. The other time that the word "Nephilim is used is when it refers to the men in Canaan. They were giants in the land and there is no reason to believe that those people had sexual relationships with angels as the view of this is what happened in Genesis 6. Adam and Eve carried the genes for all of humanity, not evil angels mixing with antediluvian women-the genetic evidence points to Adam and Eve as parents of mankind. Even though Seth and his descendants, as well as everybody else from Adam, had/has a propensity to sin does not nullify that Seth and his line were not considered righteous in God's eyes and Cain and his line were wicked. The theme of Genesis contrasts two "seeds" a righteous seed and a wicked seed. We see other stories or examples all throughout the book of Genesis: Jacob and Esau, Isaac and Ishmael, Joseph and his brothers, etc. comparing the righteous line with the unrighteous line. Also, what does it mean to be a "son of God?" It just isn't about angels. If we read some Bible texts such as Romans 8:14 or John 12,13 for examples, we clearly see that anyone who is born again is considered a child, son or daughter, of God. As a born again Christian we can consider ourselves as a son or daughter of God-this term doesn't apply to just angels-it must be used contextually based on other Biblical verses. Reformers of the past such as Martin Luther, John Calvin, Ulrich Zwingli and others all thought that the sons of God referred to the descendants of Seth. In short, it was the mingling of the righteous (Seth's line) with the unrighteous (Cain's line) that brought judgement on the antediluvian world-a world where people thought evil continually.

Jesus’ reference to the days of Noah is clearly just about people going about as business as usual while being unaware of coming judgement. And you can know that by reading the whole statement Jesus made and also the one He made in Luke 17 about how “it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”

@@KenAmmi-Shalom When Jesus said "As it was in the days of Noah" the disciples knew exactly what Jesus was saying. The effect of the Nephilim and their offspring had corrupted the whole earth. God regretted making man. People today dismiss the coming of Jesus, judgement, because they don't believe it. Look at the sin today. The animosity of the people towards Christian Believers. The news of Nimrod's (Nephilim) coffin, fresh DNA, and cloning. If you don't think that Satan, the dragon, the beast, aren't planning the second coming of the Nephilim...well, that why the Bible says that in the last days men's hearts will fail them because of what they will see. Think about it. What would it take for a healthy man to have THE heart attack because of what he sees?

I'm not sure if you have done this topic yet have you ? What position are you on once saved always saved? 1 position ... The person who walked away from God lost his salvation and can keep coming back to Him until he dies if he never comes back then he is destined for the lake of fire , 2 Position the person who walked away was never saved in the first place ,3rd position if someone walked away from God they are still saved and they are just prodicals and they will come back if they don't they are still going to heaven but have missed out on rewards in the race that is when Paul said he who endures to the end shall be saved for rewards it's all about grace Joseph prince. They're saved no matter what . 4th position it will all pan out in the end ?

They are angels as sons of man, daughters of man and children of men, in the original Hebrew is Ben/Benei Adam. Whenever the sons of God are mentioned in the Old Testament, the original Hebrew is Ben/Benei Elohim. And Ben/Benei Elohim is what is used in Job as well as in Genesis.

All of God’s chosen children are “sons of God” (that is, all those who believe God and have accepted His Son Jesus’ sacrifice saves them). Salvation is not offered to angels. They cannot become “sons of God”, through Jesus Christ. But we can. We are grafted in to the Family Tree of God. Neither angels, nor demons can be. But first: Gen.6:1-4 1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (the LORD said He wouldn’t always strive with man, meaning the sons of God). 4 “There were giants (Nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” Num. 13:33 “And there we saw the giants (Nephilim), the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” (Long after the Flood, and here they are in the Promised Land already, ahead of the Hebrews). Now the explanation : Genesis 6:2 - 4 does not say, " angels are called "the sons of God". That term is reserved for man. Believers are called the sons of God. Also, the Bible says that angels are ministering spirits, and that they have not flesh and bones as men have. They are spirit beings. There is no way angels, much less "fallen" angels (which became demons after the Great Rebellion in Heaven) would have been allowed to become flesh and procreate with humans, thus polluting God's Creation with angel/human hybrids. God is in complete control of all His Creation. That would also eliminate whole groups of people from salvation, being part demon. It says there were giants (Nephilim) in the earth in those days, and afterwards, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men. That refers to a timeframe, not a resultant action due to angels and the daughters of men procreating. The sons of God were human, and the offspring between them and the daughters of men became "mighty men from old, men of renown". Human. Not angel/human hybrids. The passages referred to in these verses do not say that the offspring became giants. The Nephilim were already there, “in those days and afterwards”. Who the sons of God are: Romans 8:12-25 So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh-- for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Matthew 5:9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. If we are higher than angels, that contradicts Scripture where it says we are lower than angels. And if we are higher than angels, then how are we equal to the angels? Why is no individual human in the OLD TESTAMENT called a son of God? Adam is, but it is through creation not salvation. And if Seth is a son of God because of Adam, then so is Cain, Abel and Adam and Eve's other children which erases children of man completely though Scripture talks about them a LOT. How can a prophecy become true before it is spoken? Salvation is first prophesied in Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Joel, yet the Sethite belief states salvation was always available, which contradicts the prophecies saying that it was coming and not here yet. So in order to be a true believer that angels did not mate with human women, you must have these paradoxes, you must have these contradictions, you must have these questions and no answers for them, and above all, you must ignore and twist Scripture.

Wow!! You are a anointed teacher! I subscribed instantly! Such clarity here. What I’m seeing lately is the argument that Angels don’t have sexual function (Luke 20:34,35) BUT I don’t know why people speak so emphatically as if there wasn’t a possible opportunity for them, in a fallen state, to have procreation ability. If the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary then I’m not sure why we can’t entertain wicked angels doing the same to humans as the enemy perverts everything. I’m digging into the 2nd theory of Canaanites impregnating Sethites. Some believe Nephilim were the pre-Israelite people of Raphiam Deut. 2:21 or Anakim people Num.13:32 and that Gen. 6 is telling us they were already here and not actual products of the unions. For all my life I believed the fallen Angels concept but now I’m pulled to study deeper because I’ve overlook Cain line, Raphiam and Anakim.

I would add a little food for thought. If it were in fact angels, It would seem that sort of thing could happen today? Do angels have sex with women today? I don't think so. For that reason alone I would have to lean to the notion that the phrase "Sons of God" does NOT always equate to angels. in the New testament Five times the exact phrase "Sons of God" is used. Matt. 5:9, Luke 20:36, Romans 8:14 and 8:19 and Galatians 3:26 These all speak of those (Men/Women) being born again or believers in Christ, becoming Sons of God. does that make them angels? No, so I think we need to be careful putting only one meaning to the phrase "Sons of God". so also in the Hebrew and Aramaic Old testament it uses this phrase, also only 5 times, this occurs Gen. 6:2 and 6:4 and Job 1:6 ,2:1 and 38:7 for these are two different authors Moses and the writer of Job (the oldest text in the bible) could have different meaning for the same phrase. As for Job it does seem that the writer does in fact mean angels.. but does that necessarily mean that it means the same thing in Genesis? possibly not, as it does NOT mean that in the Greek text of the New testament as shown above. Also in the same vein as it were, does "Son of God" mean angel? No, the Son of God was the only begotten of God the one and only "Son of God" Jesus refers to Himself by this title several times and we know that Jesus was NOT an angel but God incarnate. and in the Old testament Daniel 3:25 King Nebuchadnezzar at the fiery furnace exclaims , “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Nebuchadnezzar did not say like one of the sons of God, but "The Son of God" So I think we need to be careful, Not to be too dogmatic about this topic and realize that God did use the Holy Spirit to have His word given to us but there was also a human element to it as well with men from different backgrounds, places and centuries... This perfect created heaven and earth had water on it, plants, and many living things like DINOSAURS. . . 3) In Genesis 1 v 2, It says the earth was formless, void, and ''Water'' was already on earth such that the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters. . Here it shows that there is a jump of events which took place which left the earth void, formless, and polluted water, on which the Holy Spirit was hovering over, and these events are not recorded because the bible is not some history-science book. . God sets the scriptures in a such a way that it shows the most important things we need to know. To avoid distractions. So, God destroyed the first heaven(sky) and the earth killing/wiping out all dinosaurs, and all living things. Until they had sinned and got kicked out the garden of Eden thats when they had their first Sex and Eve conceived and gave birth to Cain and Abel. Cain and Abel. . 12) Cain kills Abel and goes to Nod and marries a gentile idolatrous woman from among the races of people like whites, blacks who were outside the garden populating and gives birth to Enock and builds a city. Sir, no angels are mentioned before Genesis 6 and no angels are mentioned after genesis 6 until Genesis 16:7! The only angel connected mention is in genesis *2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.* and later about Satan! So in context the whole preflood book of Genesis does not talk about ANGELS! Angels are spirit beings (Hebrews 1:7, 14), Jesus Himself said that “spirits do not have flesh and bones” (Luke 24:39). Jesus also said that “angels neither marry, nor are given in marriage” (Luke 20:34-36; Matthew 22:29-30; Mark 12:24-25). In order for angels to reproduce they must have flesh and DNA, and DNA is an organic material that is found in flesh and bones. Pay attention to what is taking place in the Book of Genesis CHAPTERS 1-6. In conclusion, all living Earthly things have the same DNA ingredients in them. Angels are not made of the same ingredients. God created the heavens and the Earth...two separate entities with separate characteristics. DNA is earthy.

Going to Luke 24:39, Jesus ALSO mentions spirits do not have flesh and bones as He has. He says this because his body is a human body, made from dust. Spirits were never made from dust. Their flesh is not like our flesh. And I say flesh because Psalms shows that angels have food. And if they have food, then they must eat. And if they eat, they have organs. And if they have organs, they have flesh. None of what they have is like what we have because we are dust. But when a divine being (angels, Jesus) take human form (be born or just transform), their bodies are now like ours.

I think it gets really interesting when you look at the instructions to commit genocide. In Deuteronomy 3:11, and later in the books of Numbers and Joshua, Og is called the last of the Rephaim. Rephaim is a Hebrew word for giants. So the Lord our God handed King Og and all his people over to us, and we killed them all. Not a single person survived.

Michael Heiser is a scholar/linguist who has helped shed light on the reasons why genocide was required in the OT and it seems to indicate that genocide was carried out on these Nephilim bloodlines who occupied the promise land.

It doesn’t harmonize. The writer of the Book of Job used angels of God instead of sons of God. The sin that the Lord judged the world for was his sons marrying pagan daughters. In the Old Testament Israel was referred to as sons of God several times. In the New Testament blessed are the peace makers for they will be called sons of God. Those who walk by the Spirit are sons of God. Believers are commanded not to marry unbelievers. Look what disasters occurred with Sampson, with David, with Solomon when they married pagan wife’s. The Lord didn’t say the may turn your hearts away from Me, He said they will turn your hearts. The sons and descendants of Seth married the daughters of Cain. They were supposed to remain separate but did they. We had from both lines two Enoch’s and two Lamech. Noah’s father was named after a murdererer and a bigamist like Cain. There is no biblical evidence of angel’s marrying and impregnating women anywhere in scripture, only bizarre speculation. Study the lines of Seth and Cain. Study the Septuagint which is confirmed by the Dead Sea Scrolls. There is where the truth will found. Even Goliath in the Septuagint was only 6’6 and not 9 feet as our children’s books say. Your claim on the sons of God and the daughters of mean inter-marry, producing offsprings of giants (Nephiellim) who were called the mighty men. Note this verse didn't mention their inter-marriage and producing offsprings of giants as you claimed but affirmed there were already giants living in those days. A few thoughts, if I may: Lucifer may be said to have numbered among the sons of God simply by virtue of being with them-like an orange in a barrel full of apples-but Lucifer was not "called a son of God" but that "the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them" plus, he cannot be a son of God since he is not an Angel, he is a Cherub. Indeed, "like the Angels of heaven who do not marry" which is specifically about the "Angels of God in heaven" which is why those that did marry are considered sinful, having "left their first estate" as Jude put it. This fallen angel theory fails in every Bible hermeneutic possible. We would not even consider this theory if it had not been for the Kabblists and other False Jewish mystic writers that borrowed this angel/human giant Fantasy from Greek and other mythologies. Hebrews 1:5 tells us '5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”? Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”? This passage/chapter was written to a heavily Jewish church of believers that had many false beliefs they were struggling with such as believing that the sacrificial system was still necessary for salvation along with angels were called sons of God. If you read Romans chapters 8-10 it is clearly laid out by the apostle Paul that sons of God is about Adopted believers which looks back at Men of Faith called this in Genesis 6 and also they are title the same in the New Testament. Adoption gives us believers an Inheritance, but angels have no inheritance, they are just Messengers. "Do you not know we will judge even angels'. So we are adopted, we have an inheritance, we will have glorified bodies like Jesus but not angels. The context of Genesis chapters 4-5 shows the clear contrast between the wicked and righteous lines that will eventually intermarry in chapter 6 and nothing in chapter 6 states the Nephilim were a result of these unions. They were just there when this was happening and after the flood. Today we have very tall people as a result of very tall parents, even tribes in Africa discovered in the 1900s where the average man was over 7 feet tall. Genesis chapter 6 is really about the Gospel of Salvation, the foreshadowing of the Cross of Salvation where a man of Faith is preserved from Judgement just as all sinners are preserved from Judgement through Faith in Christ.

@@pililani_blessings Thanks for the reply. A-As I had posted before from Hebrews 15 angels are never ever called 'son'. Also sons of God always has a connotation of Adoption, of Inheritance. Angels possess neither of these. They were created sinless and therefore are not adopted, they have no Inheritance with Jesus like born again believers do. B-When the Earth was created and the word void was used it comes from the Hebrew tohuw {to'-hoo} which means formless, empty. The same word can be used for chaos, but God is not a God of chaos. He takes that which is formless and forms it into what He wants. So it was not sitting there thousands of years. This is from another bad teaching called the Gap Theory. When people or animals are born they too are in a formless state for a short time. C-In your point 2 you are espousing the Pre-Adamic theory which comingles with the Gap theory and uses Eisegesis, meaning you are inserting something into the text that is not there at all. The original KJV of 1611 did use the word 'replenish' but the English meaning of that time was to fill, not refill. There was a poetic form used in 1612 to mean refill but Genesis is not written in poetic form. The word meaning changed to re-fill in the 19th century. D-Your point 4 where you cite 2 Peter 3:8 and Psalm 90:4 both use Figurative language. We have to realize that God is eternal, he is not bound by time. Time is a measurement only for His creation and events. So he uses those 2 passages in the light that a Thousand years in God's eyes is just as a day is because He is timeless, He is Eternal. E-God told them to be fruitful and multiply in chapter 1. We cannot be certain when they first procreated, but we can be certain that they did not know the idea of shame until they sinned. F-Nothing in scripture tells us that Cain married some idolatrous gentile. You are using Eisegesis again. All peoples married from within their family or extended family in the beginning. A-Now about the Holy Spirit, he speaks to All Christians who pray for Wisdom & Understanding of the Word so you are not unique. Rev. 👆 This is occurring before the New Jerusalem descends to earth after Jesus comes again. The first earth and heaven only pass away then. For now..you're on the first earth. There were no dual creations in the 'now.

God put that "first" there twice because it's foreknown numerous "you's" would come telling stories about two creations etc. You're in the first creation still. This is the scenario post Judgement when Jesus comes again..at which time numerous things will change fully. As you can see your fairytale of dual creations at Genesis died. You are still in the single creation of God...and Jesus said all things will be made anew when He does come again. "And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day." This is repeated through the the Genesis account each "day" to let the same "you's" know a DAY is as you see it now..not year or years. You'd do best for yourself by sticking to what God created than trying to invent your own versions.

"Sons of God" are those created by God. "Sons of Man/Men" are those created by a man and a woman. I don't understand where you get this "made their homes" part. They took all of whom they chose, speaking of the beautiful women. In my reading, and in my ancient Hebrew studies, this act of taking does not seem to be of the willing. The "took" all of whom they chose. Not all of the women who said "yes." The angels "left their first estate" not abode. Angels are always masculine. They don't marry or are given in marriage. This is what God intended for them. They knew that they were disobeying God by transforming themselves, leaving their first estate, and took for themselves wives... In the days of Noah, the descendants of the Nephilim had corrupted the earth so bad that there was nothing but violence. SUMMARY OF THE BOOK OF GENESIS (My little contribution) . (From John 1 v 12 just like Genesis 6 v 1-4), Sons of God are True believers in God . Unlike Job 1 and 2, Where Sons of God refer to angels. . . . 1) The Earth was not created 6000 years ago . 2) In Genesis 1, the earth was probably created thousands or millions of years ago. . And this is when God created a perfect Heaven (sky) and Earth, and This earth wasnt void and deformed but it was perfect. . God always create perfect-complete things. And not deformed, void, formless. . This perfect created heaven and earth had water on it, plants, and many living things like DINOSAURS. . . 3) In Genesis 1 v 2, It says the earth was formless, void, and ''Water'' was already on earth such that the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters. . Here it shows that there is a jump of events which took place which left the earth void, formless, and polluted water, on which the Holy Spirit was hovering over, and these events are not recorded because the bible is not some history-science book. . God sets the scriptures in a such a way that it shows the most important things we need to know. To avoid distractions. So, God destroyed the first heaven(sky) and the earth killing/wiping out all dinosaurs, and all living things. These events took place between Genesis 1 v1 and Genesis 1 v 2 . . 3) Then now comes the Creation again. second creation after the first creation which God destroyed or we can say, The first creation after the first creation which God destroyed living the world void, formless and polluted water, on which the Holy Spirit was hovering on. . THIS EXPLAINS WHY GOD said Replenish the earth or refill the earth. because it was once filled but God destroyed everything in preparation of the creation of humans. . . 4) Then comes in order the 6 days creation which i personally believe there were not 24 hr days but rather 1000 years according to 2 Peter 3 v 8 and Psalm 90 v 4. For 1 day to God...to us its 1000 years. . So those 6 days of creation of Genesis chapter 1, were 6000 years...in earthly time and not 6 literal days. . . 5) Genesis 1 v 26 God created humans All races, Blacks, whites, indians, Asians etc all these people were created at the same time, male and female and were commanded to multiply and fill the earth. have babies and fill the earth. Eat the fruits. . LABOUR PAINS: At this time, the labour pains for women were very minimal. Women could easily give birth to children . Sin has not entered the world yet. . . 6) God rested on the 7th day (1000 years) without creating anything. . . 7) After the 7th day (1000 years) God decided to create one man, ADAM, The first Hebrew Prophet for one reason To till the ground and take care of His fruits and flowers in the Garden that He would create...which later He created in Eden and placed Adam in it. No Eve is created here yet. . . 8) Adam is lonely, God creates animals for him to name them and play with them. But Adam was still lonely . . 9) So God creates a woman, Eve, for him, as a help meet. As an assistant in taking care of the garden. And were not commanded to have sex and have babies. Such commandment was never given to Adam and Eve in the garden. . Until they had sinned and got kicked out the garden of Eden thats when they had their first Sex and Eve conceived and gave birth to Cain and Abel. With increased labour pains. . . 10) Adam and Eve sin God curses the snake, removes the legs and commands it to move on its belly, God increases labour pains for all women because of the Sin of Eve, God removes free things like food from Adam....No sweet without sweat now. , All the races of people outside the garden sins along with Adam. why? Because Adam was representing all races on earth. . All the races of people were being represented by Adam. . . 11) Adam and Eve get kicked out, and have babies. Cain and Abel. . 12) Cain kills Abel and goes to Nod and marries a gentile idolatrous woman from among the races of people like whites, blacks who were outside the garden populating and gives birth to Enock and builds a city. Because there were many idolatrous gentiles there. . . 12) In Genesis 6, Sin is increased on earth because Jews, sons and grandsons of Adam, just like cain, continued marrying idolatrous races of people and turned away from God except Noah and his family. . unfortunately, there's no real scholarship here. That's not a shot, it's just an observation. There are assumptions we are making about the supernatural realm that we impose on scripture. I would suggest to anyone to read The Unseen Realm and Reversing Hermon by Dr. Michael S. Heiser.

There are multiple interpretations on understanding who the sons of God are, and real scholars have different viewpoints. The very concept of scholarship is not that one human voice is the final voice, but that there is real discussion (including disagreement) on topics. I don't really understand the objective of your comment, other than to highlight that people may have disagreements on how to interpret an interesting topic of Scripture.

This topic is 100% settled, historically and textually. There is no debate. The sons of God here refer to angelic beings. The Nephilim were hybrid offspring. Call this ridiculous if you want. But it was the ONLY known interpretation prior to 400 AD. All the ancient rabbis, priests, theologians-and even corresponding Sumerian texts-held to the angel view.

If you don't believe Peter and Jude, that Angels cohabited with women and thus were locked up by God, how can you suggest God would punish Angels. You either believe God's word in the Bible or you don't. Stand up and lead men after God's inspired word. Old Testament "Son's of God" being Angel's is accepted academically. This Cain line idea was invented recently, people should research when, who and why. Michael S. Heiser is an American biblical Old Testament scholar and Christian author is easy to find on youtube.
