Love how the bandeleros are always filled with cartridges more suited to a British 303 or something, but they use Winchesters with a tube magazine

I don't believe I've ever seen the cartridges in a Mexican bandoleer that fit any gun they were carrying. I certainly never saw anyone take a cartridge from a bandoleer and load it into a gun they were using. In any case, to belong to a Mexican gang you had to carry at least one bandoleer! Another quirky thing is how they seem to use 20th-century weapons (not yet invented) in the late 19th century, ie. Colt police revolvers.

I first saw this 30 years ago - a very bad VHS copy with Scandinavian subtitles - and it just hit the spot for me. I've watched it countless times since then, in numerous versions, but it feels strange to see it in HD quality!

It took me a long time to figure out where i know from the bandit leader. He was the Irishman at the beginning of the "Once upon the time in the wild west" with Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson. He was killed and his children for the station
