A Stray Kitten Came to My Doorstep and Kept Looking Back-Turns Out Its Mom Was Following

A young man heard what seemed to be a cat meowing outside the door. When he opened it, he found a kitten right outside! As soon as the kitten saw him, it immediately ran to his feet, meowing sweetly. While the man was wondering where the kitten came from, he noticed that the kitten kept looking behind. Following its gaze, he saw a large cat standing in the shadow near the building’s entrance! It wasn’t hard to guess that the large cat must be the kitten’s mother. The mother cat was watching from a distance, neither approaching nor leaving.
The young man didn’t understand what the mother cat’s behavior meant. Was she taking her kitten out to play and got lost in the hallway, or was she trying to give the kitten to him?

@@jhchin7820 🙏. It was our pleasure. She was aggressive, she bit, she clawed, but we were patient & were always physically gentle with her until she trusted us completely. We fed her fresh beef, boiled chicken, wet & dry cat food & cat creams which she adored. I still have difficulty going to the deli counter in a supermarket without thinking about her. We loved her & miss her still.

Oh this was bittersweet to watch. Indeed the loving MAMA CAT thought it best to find a Safe and able home for the last KITTY in her litter. How the MAMA CAT communicated this to her KITTEN to approach the Man in itself is a mystery as the KITTY Obeyed its Mom. Thank you for deciding to Adopt this Precious, innocent Life and make it a part of your loving Family. However, my heart was sincerely broken for the MAMA CAT Not being Trapped as the lives of homeless Female Cats are so very hard. Soon she will get pregnant again and the difficulty of giving birth, finding food for her own survival and safety then later for her Kittens will begin again. I Pray that some kind person have found and adopted the MAMA CAT by this time.

This is such a heart-warming story. Yes, some mother cats do entrust the care of their babies to humans. I have seen many cases where mother cats took this action to ensure that their babies would be safe, particularly is she was unable to feed her babies, or other animals or humans were perceived to be a threat to her kittens. In some cases, mother cats would observe the potential carer that she had in mind for weeks before entrusting the care of her baby to that individual. I have seen a mother cat take up a position in a tree overlooking the house where she handed over her baby for over a week to ensure that her baby is OK. These animals are very intelligent, intuitive and aware of far more than we give them credit for. This mother cat has given you a wonderful gift and it could not have been an easy decision for her. I do sincerely hope the mother cat is ok. Live long and prosper Grace and your new family.

It's so difficult not to cry at the sight of the mother cat who sacrificed herself and entrusted her baby to a human she did not know for her baby's well-being 😢 That's such as sad moment when the kitten went back to her mother, who gave her a last kiss before leaving her forever. That shows how difficult life is for stray cats and the sacrifices they have to do for their kittens. So sad that when the mother cat returned, she could not see her kitten again. That would have helped her trusting the man. She must have come back to see her baby again. So sad that she did not see her. However, her dream was fulfilled when we see how happy her baby was.

The opposite happened to me. As a mother cat kept coming to my yard for food. After about a month of building up trust with her, she brought her kitten to my yard with her. Now mother and her kitten run and sleep around my yard, as they have adopted me as their parent. And as the kitten still sleeps on her on occasion, that's one of the most wonderful things to see. They'll always have a place with me.

The Mama cats behavior shows that she is very friendly, she's just a little bit afraid & unsure wether she will get excepted. It's obvious this cat once had a home & family who decided to throw her away like yesterdays trash. Mama cat doesn't belong on the streets, If you can't or don't want to adopt her will you please get in contact with an organization that will come & rescue her, this will guarantee a safe place while she waits for a forever home.

Когда котенок был рядом с девушкой, а затем пошел к матери, она стала уходить, тогда котенок сначала остановился, а после вернулся к девушке. И та и ваша история удивительны. Спасибо вам за доброту.

A mother cat comes to my patio and leaves her kittens to which 3 of them I adopted ,one I gave him to my sister and the others I found them home.every time she will come back to check and make sure that her kittens are taken of ,she will peep in my screen windows to look at them happy. And the youn ones will come to the windows and give her a kiss goodbye . .we finally able to catch her ,got her taken care and found her a home .since then few of the stray mother cats will bring THIER kittens in my patio and the same routine happens. And I never like cats as I was growing up . Now they are my pride and joy . Thank you for taking in her kitten .just wish you could also find her mother , she deserves a good home .

Qué triste y cruel dejar a la gata madre a la deriva y no adoptarla también para que viviera con su hija, y no terminara tirada en la calle corriendo peligro. Incluso podrían haberle mostrado a su hija y haberla seguido para ver si tenía otras crías. Rescatarlas y darlas en adopción o llamar a un Centro de rescate. No publiquen estos vídeos con buenas acciones a medias.
