The 'Big' cat is basically a 1.5 - 2 year old baby cat, an experienced older cat would definitely have adapted to the rescued kitten in a matter of days. Just look at the relaxed old cat who pops in screen occasionally, totally calm. I had a lot of cats since i was a kid and the way they socialize is just a joy to watch.

We had a big oder cat and were thinking about adopting a small kitten. Our cat was in love with uns, but she never liked the kitten and was always angry. So not all cats are the same.😢

Frankly, it depends on the cat. Cat reactions to a new roommate can run a spectrum from apathy, to new friend, to asserting dominance, to disappearing to a hiding spot for the next few years and anywhere in between.

I absolutely loved this video from beginning to end. In fact, it's one of the most entertaining cat videos out there. Anyone who has ever owned a cat will be able to relate to the behavior of the kitten and the mature cat as they progress from introduction to the storming and norming phase and then eventual acceptance and love. Spoiler alert: they are now best of friends. I thought it was really intriguing how they ended up almost looking like twins with their coloring and markings. It was interesting to see how the other white and orange mature cat seemed to be just a stable observer of all the drama, but also eventually became a good buddy with the kitten. The music tracks and sound effects were perfect for action going on. ❤❤❤

One day they were under our truck, meanie had nice on the ground, totally attacking him. Nice was on his back, giving up, but meanie kept biting him on his stomach. We had to break him off. Act of submission, dear.❤ worked in the long run for these two on here.

Enjoyed the musical accompaniment, & joyful interactions in raising this kitten....brought back many memories as I, too, raised many kitties over 70 yrs. Loved your laugh, as it reminded me of my first husband learning to enjoy our adopted little "hoodlums," especially since he thought he didn't like cats at first, but learned the great joy of watching their antics. ❤ Isn't it wonderful watching kittens grow up? There is nothing more funny, cute and interesting than watching them interact and explore the world! All those first-time moments. First time using the kitty box. First time being able to climb the scratch tower. First snow, first rain. The first time my little bunch of clowns experienced rain they came in and screamed at me, like "wth is that? Switch that off!" They had seen me switch light, sound and water on and off, so why not the rain? I'll be 65 by end of the month, have been with cats all my life since I was 10 and will always be!

This was mostly introducing the rescused kitten to Yuni and not so much "the big cats" (plural) - but that doesn't matter! 🥰 It was so lovely to see the progress from how timid Haru used to be, how Yuni kept hissing and punch at him, BUT she was still engaging and actually seeking him out a lot and to now where it's a love and grooming fest, albeit Haru is still a teenage boy here, so of course he can't help but tease. 😹 And now we're all excited and curious to see how Yuni, Soni and Haru will react to the lovely Bami and Dami. 😻

I felt like Yuni wasnt as much aggressive as much as Haru's behaviour put her off. She often laid down in front of him and exposed her belly. Saw her slow blink too. But Haru was always in combat mode so she was responsive to that I think.

I had lots of cats myself- I understand their learning about each other, kitten and big kitty! They got used to each other and began to love each other- I love cats all the time- you have to take care them, watch them, and good place inside where they can play-and easy place together where they can get together!
