They rerun every year and after a while they also get added to the normal pool so you can get them anytime.

Shoukaku can work too. Doesn't just buff damage you're dealing, but also reduces incoming damage during that time frame (worse than an always on damage reduction, but it's gotta be appreciated when you're running a midgame fleet built around dealing damage to bosses, but your frontline is squishy, since the ships that deal the same damage but can also survive like over 50% more damage are all limited or priority research ships (PR). A buffer like her is especially good if you lack the required amount of planes for a 3rd high-damage CV, so you put your worse planes on Shoukaku and compensate with her skill. Using Nagato accomplishes the same thing, essentially.

for readily available tanks you can always use Atago or Takao

Takao 4 second is amazing(JK)🤡. 😂

So the most tankiest ship on the vanguard needs to be in the front?
@deepdishdaddy3346Ай бұрын
Yes, they'll be in front of the enemy most of the time, so the tankiest should be in the 1st slot and the 2nd tankiest in the 3rd slot
@theuniversaldisneyian2021Ай бұрын
Just to make sure there’s no confusion, the tank should be in the bottom most position when you’re setting up your fleet. That’s the lead position for vanguards. It’s different from the backline flagship position which is the middle position of the backline, so be careful not to get the two lead positions confused. Your weakest/squishiest vanguard should be in the middle and the top position is the “off-tank”
@СофияУланова-с6гАй бұрын
@@theuniversaldisneyian2021 ships are deployed in combat exactly as you see them in the fleet set up screen. During combat, on auto, vanguard will move around and sometimes bottom will become top and that`s why you want tankier ships in those 2 positions. Normal vanguard setups go something along the lines: CA/CB (bottom)+ DD (middle) + CL (top). Of course there are some ships that can break this rule (eg Laffey II who is a DD and one of the tankiest ships in the game) or if you want to set up for "pocket nukes" (ships that buff the main fleet but aren`t exactly fit for long periods of combat; Kazagumo or Sirius for example). As for the back line, you want a flagship (middle position) that can take plenty of dmg. Usually it's a BB as they have heavy armor and highest amount of HP, but depending on content you attempt or set-ups, you may have a CV/CVL or a BC which are less tanky than a BB. If the flagship goes down, combat ends with defeat regardless the status of other ships in the fleet.
@gapho5198Ай бұрын
Yep, the front most ship is your tank, the one at the rear will take the 2nd most damage as well since when you fleet goes backwards, it is the last to follow, the ship in the middle is normally the ship which is most fragile.

Can Kazagumo be swapped for Shimakaze? My Shimakaze is way more built than my Kaza. Will she work fine in this set up?

Started this game 6 days ago and i am always out of oil after 2 hour max. i have tried everything small compo. low cost team, always out of oil. Do i missing something or its for very casual players or whale ?
@СофияУланова-с6гАй бұрын
You are also limited by low level as you can`t regen/stack a higher amount of oil. As you are doing low level story missions, don`t bring in a full fleet. Always use the bare minimum 1-1, and don`t limit break (increases oil cost) until you really need it to progress. At low level missions all ships are viable for fleet comps, so make a fleet of Elite or Common ships. You can get a 1-1 common/normal fleet (4 star ships when max limit break) that has a cost of 3 oil per deployment. There are some decently good ships even in the normal or rare category. Do commissions that bring in oil. Send your ships on long commissions (8h or longer) over night and always prioritize oil return. One of the most important features is the canteen: upgrade it asap. It is the only reliable source of oil you have. Merchant shop for coins is also very good but lower priority than canteen. Do not spend oil on trivial things outside ship combat. The only viable use of oil is for commissions that bring in very valuable items: gems (very rare), cubes (sort of rare), T3 books (used to improve skills).

It's a 7 year old game, there's a lot of content that you need to solve, and you can do it slowly I've been playing since 2018 as F2P and never come to such problem like low coobs or gold, BUT always run out of oil like you. My best advice is, if you want to farm some stage, try using 1:1 fleet and minimize ships rarity. It's not a game that needs a lot of brain power to play (lol), so try to be patient and farm every single event/content this game offers to
