A Studio Recording with Satori, MP32, Orion32 & Pure2 | Antelope Audio

Antelope Audio devices used in the studio recording: Satori, MP32, Pure2
All instruments and vocals were fed into the MP32 32-channel Microphone Preamp, which was the sole preamp for this recording. These signals were fed to the Orion32 Multi-Channel AD / DA Converter, for AD conversion into the DAW of the desktop computer.
Pure2 Mastering AD/DA Converter & Clock provided DA conversion for tracking and mixing as well as syncing all digital devices with AFC Clocking.
Satori High-End Monitoring Controller enabled multiple headphone outputs for monitoring by both engineers and musicians.

Really loved the sound. Clean, detailed. 2 questions: 1) the MP32 can be controlled by Pro Tools? (by the same control that controls Avid PRE, Millennia HV3R, etc?) or 2) Can the MP32 software be controlled by the Artist Mix controller? (I mean, I want to control the preamps gain through my instances of Artist Mix - I own 4 (or 32 channels). Thank you very much.

Hi Keith! The only way to control the MP32 is through its own control panel, you cannot control it through Pro Tools directly.

Do artists listen to the same mix in the headphones or it can be mixed different to everyone?

Depending on the device, you can have 2 or 4 independent separate mixes. In this video Satori offers 4 Headphone Outs.
