I see that a lot with newer channels who are trying to build their views and or unsure of the content their providing ,I also see when the KZbinr has the higher views but want more ( greed) or they fear that something they have said or done might drop their subscriber count or viewers, Hence the tragedy at the KZbin headquarters in LA ( which was so sad) . I personally just like general titles. Not really much into the clickbaity titles because I’m not into feeling like a gossip monger 😂 I mean I follow your vlogs because I enjoy your content, I don’t really need odd titles. Perhaps using a “VLOG # - I called 911”? Sometimes I expect the video to be just about the title itself so if it’s a long vlog and the title footage is just less than a minute I feel cheated somewhat?? Lol.

I think there are levels to clickbait. On one end there’s flat out lying, and on the end there’s exaggeration of the truth. Both clickbait, but one is more “forgivable/acceptable” for lack of better terms.

A lot of vloggers use pretty basic and standard titles for vlog like “my holiday outfits” and it’s a vid about exactly that (lol I’m reading A Zoella title Atm). I do think your titles are click bait-y lol. I generally watch them anyway but often times I find myself fast forwarding to whatever you were talking about in the title and then I end up just clicking off if the pay off wasn’t that good. I don’t like this style of title although I understand why you do it. I believe if your content is good enough we will watch it regardless of the alluring title. I don’t think family visits nyc and I called 911 is terrible but I don’t like this title or the previous one -‘don’t buy this product’. I would probably click and actually watch this if it was titled more generally about the entire video. Hope this is somewhat helpful. Sending love. It’s beyond me why people would take time out to write something nasty on KZbin. It’s freakin free.. if you don’t like something move on! I would rather spend my 5 minutes to uplift someone for making great videos, giving us nice content and entertaining us. I am not paying you.. you don’t owe me or anyone anything! I think I understand that you want the titles to be intriguing and something that subscribers would be interested in knowing about. However, there are titles which maybe be intriguing but somewhat have a negative undertone which this vlog title does. I like your positive outlook towards work and amazing work life balance and it inspires me too. I do agree that calling you sleazy is straight up wrong and I am glad that you used it to start a discussion in the comments section but that still doesn't rationalize the somewhat negative title. I personally think I was more excited about the James Bay concert and you could have titled this vlog that. It's nice and cute and you guys are adorable. The 911 episode was funny and I have definitely done that and then decided to have a difficult pattern lock on my phone at all times to avoid that. It didn't feel clickbait-y when I clicked on the video but it did when I realized the 911 episode lasted for like 2 minutes. Loved the family visit though, I miss mine so much! Keep me real and positive guys. We love you already and more Stella! She's slowly winning me over.

This comment is just because you asked our thoughts on click bait in the video: I do agree that the title of that specific "I called 911 Vlog" was click bait. You butt dialing 911 and discussing it for 30 seconds wasn't the most interesting part of the vlog. I don't know if it's too much crime TV but I was expecting something shocking. Like when I realized that was what you were referencing in the title I was like oh well maybe they like tracked her phone and showed up to her apartment (again, too much crime TV?) but that didn't happen which made the title slightly eye roll inducing. In this vlog, while do you briefly discuss a subscriber calling you sleazy, the majority of the video was about your trip to Florida. Again, in my opinion, that is click-bait as that's neither the bulk of OR the most interesting part of the content. I don't think click bait is straight up lying as it is misleading viewers to get them to click on your video. On the other hand, like you said, that's kind of the point of KZbin so it's understandable why you would. As a subscriber if you post a video, I'll watch it. Doesn't need to be much more than that. I honestly just prefer a "Vlog #__" titles but it's not a make or break. And even if it it is click bait it doesn't make you sleazy lol.

The Mario Badescu drying lotion works great for pimples! It’s like a spot treatment. Put it on a night over a pimple and by morning it’s much better if not completely dried out!

I do think your vlog titles are clickbait-y , I totally understand the marketing reasoning behind it and trying to instill curiosity to get viewers, and, personally, it does initially make me curious and I do click but more often than not i won't finish watching because the title only refers to 1min out of a 20min video and it just discourages me to watch. I know other people get hooked and keep watching so you do you lol whatever works, just my personal opinion! Can't wait for more styling videos btw they're my favorite❤️
