This is helpful. I am one week from starting ivf. One round is 17000 and each transfer is 5000. The meds could be 5000

For my csection I think it took 2 or 3 trys with the epidural. I had a hard time trying to curve my back. I'm sitting there with my stomach up in my chest and their like you have to curve your back. I'm like I can barely lean forward, how do I curve my back. I did have the feeling of an elephant on my chest. Not the whole time but a few times it felt like someone was on my chest and I was being suffocated. I wasn't able to be with our son till I got moved to recovery. When I was moved to recovery I was still numb and couldn't move. The nurses had to move me into bed and I was lucky and didn't feel the cathader being removed. I waited hours to be with our son and I felt like I couldn't even bond or enjoy it. The first couple hours were spent being stiched up and in post op. Then when I was moving to recovery I was so tired I couldn't stay awake to be with him. Missing those first hours and skin to skin really bothered me. I had gas pain in my shoulder that made me cry. This was our first time also sending one of our babies to the nursery. I will say even though it is nice to rest we will never do it again. Just a few hours in the nursery cost us thousands of dollars added to our hospital bill. I swear it was like they charged us $1000 hr for about 4 hours that he was in there. Shoot, the OR was cheaper. We learned our lesson. I am pregnant with #6 and will not fall for the trap again.

made me feel sad… why is everything ‚just temporary‘? this seems so consumerist and like your chasing an aesthetic that can‘t be fulfilled with things…

I moved to new place and had to see new stylist :( my highlight hair turned out not very good. Want to do it myself next time

40,000 dollars to have a baby. The US is a cesspool. In France IVF is part of the National Healthcare System. Just like in Spain and Italy.

That last white dress that you tried on (with the sweetheart neckline) is truly gorgeous on you, but would I wear either of those dresses to a wedding? Oh HALLLLLLL NO! I would feel like I was disrespecting the bride. The black dresses - unless specified to be a black and white wedding and all guests must dress accordingly (as I once went to…… weird.) - I would not ever wear to a wedding either. I remember my mother never forgave her MIL for wearing black to my parents’ wedding. That particular grudge was held for almost 65 years and was only let go when my mother passed on!

Congratulations on your baby girl. She is absolutely beautiful. How lucky that your hospital has a baby nursery. With my last daughter I had preeclampsia so I had been in the hospital for over a month on bed rest. I was on 24 monitors and they still had to come in and check my blood pressure every few hours so I got no sleep it felt like. As soon as I fell asleep it seems like a nurse was coming in to check my blood pressure’s or someone was coming in to adjust my monitor because the baby had moved. So by the time I went into labor I was very glad because that meant I would be going home but she never left my room. They even bathed her in my room. My husband was great with getting up handing her to me so I could nurse her but he had spent every night at the hospital with me so he was exhausted too. He would just pick up dinner after work and come directly to the hospital and then shower there in the morning and then leave for work. It was a long month and some days. Books are the only thing that kept me sane because I wasn’t even allowed to attend the craft classes or anything else they offered because I was only allowed out of my bed to use the restroom. But she made it here safely so I won’t complain. One thing I did learn is that when having a baby packing adult diapers is a life saver. Glad someone told me that before I had her. Just size up so they aren’t rich around your incision if you have one. Once again congrats! 💕💕💕

I had two under two, and at first I thought "what was I thinking?". Then I turned around and it was over, both potty trained by 2and a half. Then I thought well that wasn't so bad. I would do it again.

I'm so glad i came across your video. I had an emergency C-section with my first baby and it was rough. Now I'm pregnant with my second baby and it has been 4 years since my last c-section, i completely forgot what the experience is like. I'm really thankful for your video. I am beginning to remember the first experience and feel more at ease knowing what i am getting myself into with this planned C-section.🤍 Thank you so much.
