The part you label as frizzen is actually called a battery on a Snaphaunce. When the battery was integrated with the pan cover in the subsequent flintlock , it was then called the frizzen.but on a Snaphaunce the pan cover and battery were separate parts.

Great video! I am getting ready to start a musket build - my first from scratch build - of a similar type. I plan to do a “heron butt” with an English style lock. Is your rifle from The Rifle Shoppe? I ordered a trigger guard and a few other parts from there. Love the idea of the barrel bands instead of pipes as it’s going to be easier to fabricate. Thanks for all the pics!
