Visited Nafplio for the first time this past July and loved it. Such a quaint city with small town vibes. And Clean! Wish we would have had more time so we could really discover it properly. I guess it’s just another reason to come back. BTW, we stayed in Tolo for 8 days and absolutely loved it. Exactly the beach town we were looking for to unwind in. A perfect little town for a family. Great beach, great weather and great food.

Nafplio is beautiful, but the island of Idra is even more spectacular In my opinion. The all white old houses with vibrant pink bougenvilia flowers drapped across their balconies is stunning.

I have started watching your videos, and they give me hope that one day I will retire in Greece. I’m originally from Chios, and speak Greek fluently. I love the weather, sea, people and the mountains. Living in MI where it’s cloudy ☁️ 3/4 of the year, is depressing.

Thank you Daniel for showing us the historical sight were the first greek president was assassinated by rebels, to this day you can see the bullet lodged in the side of a church. This city has a lot of historical sights.

There’s a LIDL over closer to the park where the farmer’s market is held. We stayed at a nearby hotel in June and I remember seeing it.

We were in Nafplio in August this year and loved the place!! Had a great time for the 4 days we were there. Met some wonderful locals who told us we’re to go and eat!! We also managed to see Aryiro in concert at Nafplio football stadium. Great time❤

Parga,Nafplion and Nafpaktos are 3 very quaint towns to visit. But there are so many more 8ts hard to choose. Depending f I am in Athens or my dad's village these three are within a 1.5hr drive so for me it's accessibility to 3 gorgeous towns.

Θα ήταν μεγάλη έκπληξη για μένα αν έβαζες άλλη πόλη για ομορφότερη στην Ελλάδα Έχω πάει σε όλες τις πόλεις στην Ελλάδος εκτός από αυτές που είναι στην Κρήτη και την Ρόδο. Ψηφίζω χωρίς καμία δεύτερη σκέψη Ναύπλιο.. Και οι Σέρρες είναι ωραία πόλη αλλά βλέπω την βάζουν συνέχεια στις τελευταίες θέσεις. Νομίζω πρέπει να είναι κάπου στην μέση κανονικά, την αδικούν.

@@elenikoukeas in no other place in the west do you find graffiti on houses and middle class neighborhoods, public buildings, statues etc. You see it in industrial areas and gettos, areas that the local authorities have given up. In Greece it’s extensive, ugly and all over. Makes everything look 3d world ish and dirty.
