It's like you can never feel "caught up." There's just so much that goes into farm work that I've learned from following the pages over the years. And that's just daily tasks. Now throw in floods (sheesh!!), LIFE, physical ailments, emotional exhaustion, and whatever else gets thrown at you. Kudos to you guys for all you do every single day.

But they knew about all of this. It all started with a flood. It was my first thought when he announced that they had bought another. property and were moving and now a third. It’s asking for non stop problems and work. Jamie said they like to always have a project in the go. As a property owner outside the city with large and small animals this was foreseeable because one large property is a major challenge. Try two or three even with help. It’s a lot. Now try three with cattle and donkeys and all they have and it’s impossible. If they want to keep working everyday of their lives they got their dream. Feel bad especially for that animals. Good luck. It’s gonna be hot. We have that grass and it’s nice. I would take that first cut. Nice. 👍

Just a thought Lester…..in England all new builds install the electrical sockets at waist height now, in your situation would that be something that would benefit you for the future. It would be easy to do whilst the dry wall is off. It’s great not having to bend down to plug in and it keeps cables off the floor. Hope your all getting back to some level of normal now 😊

Great idea Lester on making the right choice in not bulldozing the barndominium and putting working on it until cooler weather because it can serve multiple purposes including letting family and other guests stay there whenever they need to. I no doubt believe it will be put to use including when you or Jami go there and it's late in the day, you can stay there overnight. But bulldozing is out of the question and here, don't pacify Jami. All the best, God bless and good luck.
