@@ChrisandDanya any advise what to take for a day trip?
@ChrisandDanya3 жыл бұрын
@@balis8369 Rain jacket, plenty of water, hiking poles, snacks, extra warm clothes. If you're doing the sunrise hike then also bring a headtorch and possibly even a sleeping bag, as it can be quite cold/windy up there early in the morning. Toque + gloves as well

Are there hikers at 2:00 am?
@ChrisandDanya2 жыл бұрын
I suppose it would depend on the time of the year. The earlier the sunrise, the earlier people will hike up, slower hikers will start earlier as well. I'd probably say there wouldn't be hikers at 2 AM tho

Definitely one of the best videos I’ve seen of bluff knoll. Well done, I’ve lived in Perth for 10 years and haven’t been to the knoll since I was 3. Going this weekend though 😁 can’t wait

You guys are such an inspiration to me. And I STILL can’t believe between the places you traverse and the stunning footage you get that you do not have thousands of followers (I mean neither do I but you guys are in an entirely different league here!) It is because of you that I started saving money last year to take my family of four to Japan to hike the Kumano Kodo. We are halfway there, looks like we will be able to go next June! This was another gorgeous video. I will definitely mention you and your wonderful channel, as well as how you’ve inspired me, when I start doing my videos for the Kumano Kodo hike!

Thank you so much for your kind words, we really don't know what to say 🙏☺️. We are so thankful that we have been able to inspire you, even if it was just a small amount. That is all we are trying to achieve with this channel and it fills our hearts and motivates us to keep going when we know we've achieved that. We are so happy that you are travelling to Japan and hiking the Kumano Kodo. It is such a beautiful trail and Japan is such an amazing country with so much to do and see. We hope you and your family fall in love with it like we have. If you have any questions or need any assistance with planning your Kumano Kodo trek or what else to see in Japan, please do not hesitate to ask. We are always available on our channel or via email at chrisanddanya@gmail.com Thanks again ☺️

@@ChrisandDanya How incredibly kind of you to offer this assistance via email... I will most definitely take you up on it, as I do have a few questions I have not quite been able to get answered searching the websites! The trip will not be until next June, so there is plenty of time, but I will be emailing you, and I am so thankful to you!!

Great to see the track and views. I remember trekking up there in the mid 70s, in fog. The path looks so much more engineered - I think it was eroded and more straight up the hill. But great fun. Hope to get there again some day!

Thanks for watching Robin 😊 It's amazing to hear how trails have changed over the years and it would be quite the experience to hike the same trail 50 years apart! Hope you get to visit again!
