Just watched all 4 parts, great vlog. I'm from Scotland and paddleboard and I've never heard of this, so glad you've given it some coverage on KZbin. What you mentioned late in the journey about hoping to inspire people to do these things after being inspired yourself by someone else, that will be true for this series. I will be doing this trip myself now.

Great video! Somehow just spotted this and now dying to make this my next SUP adventure. Would you be able to let me know where you parked whilst you were out paddling? I've spotted the Banavie Locks Car Park which is free and right next to Neptunes Staircase, but there is no mention as to whether or not it'd be safe/fine-less to leave a car there for a few days. Thanks!

Hey Lewys. Thanks for your comment and glad you enjoyed the video. Will is actually away for a bit at the moment. But I will send this question onto him and get him to answer it on his return. I hope that's okay all the best and happy paddling Reuben

Hi Lewis, the parking at Banavie is free, you'd have no problem. There may be some bays allocated specifically to Great Glen paddlers also. Worth getting a hold of the Great Glen Canoe Trail Guide(all info is SUP applicable too) - there's a new updated edition being finished right now, check out Explore Highland on Facebook for updates, he's writing it.

Definitely going to do this this summer can you give any advice to a solo lady paddler wanting to take this on ...

Hey Sophie, thats awesome, i'm glad you are inspired to give this trip a go. It was on my bucket list for some many years and I had the biggest smile on my face when I finished it. From a solo female point of view I would say that this is a good trip for that - in the summer the route is 'well trodden' so you should see lots of other people. The trail blazer sites are maintained by wardens (not 100% or full time) but this is good as there should be people around and about at times. I would say make sure you contact them and let you know you are out there, they encourage this with anyone doing the trip. The route is well set up for tourists and I would say that if you contact them they would give you more advice from a solo point of view.... Keep in comms - I always had good phone coverage and you can always use some thing like GEOSUPs live share function to keep a safety contact informed of where you are. Lastly the lochs and produce pretty crazy conditions, so make sure you are experienced and ready for what it might throw art you. I hope some of that helps and please please please let us know how you get on! Thanks, Will - SUPboarder

Hi Thomas, this is the Palm Vantage - it was a great waterproof to use on the trip - specifically redesigned for paddling.
