In June 2021, I set off to cycle, paddle board, and hike the length of Scotland. This video documents the paddle boarding section - a route that was just shy of 200km from Inverkip to Fort William
Unfortunately I lost quite a bit of video footage from the paddling section, due to corrupt SD cards. But I've cobbled together the footage that I managed to recover. I hope you enjoy it!
To watch the other videos in this Scottish Adventure Triathlon series, check out the playlist called 'Scottish Adventure Triathlon'
Thank you Skillshare for sponsoring this video!

After seeing the hiking part of this, then the cycling 🚲 I didn't realize how much this effected you in the scale of what you had to do and what you went through emotionally, it was truly one HELL of an adventure, you kept calm and you did it, (well I'm sure you did not having seen the next video haha) you brought/bringing your viewers such a great story, but more importantly you're doing it for yourself, which is more of a win. It means you now have a way of looking back on this and what you truly accomplished for ever..... Well done Sarah👏.....thanks for sharing it was great to watch, see you on the next adventure in this series 🤟🤙🤗 P.s. the views were immense 😍 (not your pants lol or maybe they were 😆) you're so funny made me chuckle 😄. Privilege not a punishment maybe is the word you forgot?

I've been looking forward to seeing this, ever since I saw your Cape Wrath Trail videos. Your CWT videos, along with the CWT videos from Becky and Wallace, persuaded me to do the trail this August. It ended up being the best adventure I've had in the UK. Saw your entry in the Cape Wrath Lighthouse logbook. So thank you, Sarah!

I can't believe you paddled 35km in a day..heck..kayaking 16km is enough for me. And the sea around there can get real rough. Doing this and then the Cape Wrath trail was outstanding. I'm attempting the Cape Wrath trail next year and have been watching your videos multiple times to gain every insight I can. Looking forward to the next video!

Such a great adventure and it looks like you got that rare Scottish weather that makes it the most beautiful place on earth. I can totally relate to the meltdown setting off on a long paddle, and all the fear that land based adventure doesn’t have, but as you said, it’s all worth it in the end. The other thing no one tells you about paddle adventures is how stressful loading your board/kayak/canoe is to balance it properly

Exactly that! Glad you can relate to the water voyage fear - it’s very different to setting off on a long hike or cycle isn’t it! Yeh kit packing is hard work too - and carrying it. I really should have filmed myself getting from the station in Inverkip down to the beach, it was an absolute comedy show tbh 😅 But all this stuff just seems to add to me wanting to do it all again and again, it levels up the challenge, which I cry about before leaving but really that’s what we’re out there for. Thanks for tuning in 😊🙏🏻
