They had to change the name of Uncle Bens because people thought it was racist, because it has a african american man on the logo and people thought that it was racist , which confuses me to no end. Since when is uncle a racist word?

Back during slavery,black men weren’t allowed to be referred to as mr as they were seen as something “other than” in turn were referred to as “Uncle__” it’s a derived from a time where black people were treated so poorly they weren’t even considered as human in this country…it’s not hard to do your research,educate yourself
