Please respond on the ending of Mark "they went away for they were upright" ? I couldn't find that saying? Thanks.

We'll be doing a full video on the ironic ending of Mark soon! φοβέω is the natural way of saying someone was afraid. I would translate it "They went away, for they were afraid." Mark is showing that even his closest followers struggled to understand his counterintuitive path of suffering and death. It's all for the shock value!

"He's not the kind of Messiah that the disciples are assuming He is" -- 5:06 In other words... He wasn't the Messiah found prophesied throughout the OT. And that is exactly the point. Yeshua ("Jesus") was not the prophesied Davidic Messiah. He satisfied none... no, not one... of the prophesied requirements. He wasn't even born of a Davidic father, which has always been the NUMBER ONE prophesied Messianic requirement!
