I DO NOT GET PAID FOR REVIEWS. Therefore if you would please consider using this affiliate link when buying Horizon or Acme level tubes from Psvane I'd appreciate it. The few dollars I make off it go towards channel expenses. psvane.co/?ref=GREEKAUDIOGEEK

I've owned the Stingray and now have the Mahi mono blocks. Love the Mahis and I love the company, what they do and how they do it. They are also incredibly customer service oriented, Eveanna has always personally responded to me and been super cool and helpful. Always wanted to hear these amps but so far haven't had the chance. I'd really love to hear the Neo Classic pre amp as well. And the Jumbo Shrimp, and the 250s and the 300s and...😂

Good stuff, and your right, using new production tubes is a MAJOR deal.

I currently am using a Line magnetic 805ia with nos ken rad black glass 6sn7s a synergistic fuse , Dcca reference power cord powering Fyne audio 502sp speakers. I know you had the 704s. Using a tube rectified and tube output Cd player with neo tech power cord and interconnects. I have a smaller living space than than you. That said the system performs very good on almost everything I throw at it. It is musical, dynamic, tonally correct with texture, very good bass response and ballanced. I can listen for hours with no fatigue. Im all in on tube gear and never thought I would have. Keep up the good work

Love above and beyond have listened to them since their inception! BTW most people get enamored with tubes for a few years, then switch to SS and the cycle carries on....

Yeah - I was solid state, then tubes, then back to solid state, and now back to tubes. :)

I have custom build 300B SET mono blocks and 845 SET amps, those that claim 300B tubes only do certain kinds of music haven't heard a proper setup. First off, need a quality power supply and properly matched speakers. I have extremely modified Klipschorns, only stock piece is bass cabinets. I listen to all genres of music, both my amps have necessary power reserves with these speakers to boogie with EDM, 300B also has the subtlety and finesse to be intimate when the music calls for it. For 300B's I have Psvane Acme and latest Western Electric, both are wonderful tubes. I've been through class a/b and class a SS, as well as push pull tubes, EL34, KT family, 6550, etc. 300B's properly done can do it all.

What kills me about tube amps - especially 300b - cost. The Manley's look great and I would love to see what the hype is about. But I'm not paying 12k or whatever for an amplifier! The premium and prestige is just not there for me.

I have a new Sophia Electric Aqua II rectifier tube type 5u4g. I can see excellence by inserting a SE 300B tube in your amp. Look into an Aucharm red fuse to accentuate your amplifier.

It’s a telephone tube with limited extension. But as Jackie would say, “how sweet it is”!

Yep called the Oasis. There's a video about it on here somewhere. I think it's in the same video Eveanna says they are working on 3 new preamps.

Luxman MB300 for me forever, or at least an Airtight ATM300.

Sounds like you are describing recording engineer manipulations and mix of the recording , not the amp??? With your setting likes. Different not “better “. Opinions opinions……

She's certainly done a better a job with the company than Luke's wife Bea has with VTL...She's literally drove it into the ground with her horrible attitude towards customers.

@fabien707913 сағат бұрын
@@GreekAudioGeek love them, Audiomat plays like live music... The wife and I listen to about 8 hours of music on Saturdays. I do listen to music every days of the week but not as long. Cheers! P.S. great videos!
