The fuzz , the amp , the guitar , the guitarists abilities are all apart of the magic Hendrix formula . I like Robin Trowers sound from 1975 .

Beautiful. Right now the sound I can’t get enough of is Remember from Smash Hits (USA). It’s always been a favorite. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a more captivating electric guitar sound. I am hearing that somewhere in this box. My 20 year old MJM London Fuzz does it for me now but I can never have too many fuzz boxes can I? :-)
@MikelBluni4 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The Smash Hits album was actually my entree to Jimi. That sound….especially on Red House ✌️🎸💯
@leewalton68824 күн бұрын
@ yes sir! That was the other one that really freaked me out when I got that record. Before that I had only heard Woodstock (SSB/PH &”Instrumental Solo”). But that was enough. Every moment of my life since was determined in that one. No regrets :-) Anyway, I still listen to Smash Hits probably once a week. It just takes me to another place. And Remember- I just couldn’t believe something so rich and beautiful and shining could be done with an electric guitar. To this day I’ve not heard anything better. Happy Holidays my brother! ✌️

Awesome video! If you had to just use one fuzz for Jimi Hendrix's tone over his whole career, what would it be? I am looking for a fuzz that will do that myself, hopefully, one that isn't too expensive since I am disabled and can't work so money is an issue. I already have a few fuzzes that I use, the JHS Series 3 Fuzz (Tonebender/Silicon Fuzz Face), Boss FZ-5 (Germanium Fuzz Face, Maestro FZ-1, Octavia), and I also have a Boss Katana Air, that has some fuzz sounds.

Other than the Wah Wah Trick knob, how does this differ in sound to the Love Drops fuzz?

Good sales pitch ! And although this fuzz sounds nice, I still prefer to use my 66' germanium fuzz face to get the Jimi thing going , I believe the Woodstock fuzz was a bc 183
@MikelBluni4 күн бұрын
Thanks ✌️🎸 Jimi’s Woodstock Fuzz was Roger Mayer’s rendition, it was European PNP and NPN silicon transistors, soundwise definitely not near the BC183s ☮️ If you check my overall content you’ll see that this wasn’t a sales pitch, as always I want to deliver an added value. Product sales demos look different and I hope I don’t come across like the many other guys who really do sales TV pitches 🫣😉✌️💯

MIKEL, set both controls in the MIDDLE , you might need to increase the fuzz higher setting but you should hear this breaking up exploding fuzz tone. Once you find this make a video lesson on the settings on getting that "exploding/Glitching in & out" fuzz. You want to AIM for getting that Glitching in and out exploding fuzz setting.

Sabbadius says: ""The JIMI Fuzz v2 is inspired in the Fuzz used by Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock and Axis Bold As Love Album, this fuzz recreates the sound of Jimi Hendrix at that era. The first JIMI Fuzz was exactly the same circuit, components etc… What change in this new edition called JIMI Fuzz v2 is only the aesthetic and size of the pedal. The JIMI Fuzz v2 is NOT a Fuzz Face clone, it uses silicon transistors for a more stable sound compared to germanium transistors. You can get those bright and warm sounds that can easily cut through the mix and can be controlled using your VOLUME Knob from your guitar. The sound of the JIMI Fuzz knob interact with your pick or fingers attack and can also be used for chords as it doesn’t get too messy."" I don't understand why it says that's not a FF clone. The description simply implifies that it's a silicon Fuzz Face, with all the qualities (it sounds great!!!) ... but that's a silicon Fuzz Face .... There's nothin' radically different. It's a great Fuzz ... but it's "simply" a Silicon Fuzz Face built in a great way with great components and values.
@leewalton68824 күн бұрын
If Nico is saying it isn’t a clone I am inclined to believe him. There are other circuit topologies than FF that can be tuned to sound and behave as we hear in this demo and as described in the literature from Sabbadius. The interaction between the JF and the wah is unlikely to be had from a direct clone of the FF circuit. I have no difficulty believing there is something different going on here. Even if it is nothing more than a buffer stage (and I have reason to doubt that is the case) - that is not simply a FF clone.

You don't have any Jimi Hendrix tone. You've been repeatedly told you're wrong but you keep ignoring this expert information. Eddie Kramer himself and I have told you YOU DON'T HAVE ANY JH sound. Ask yourself what is the fender sound and what is distinctly different about the JH sound?? You have to be playing in studio 1 to recreate a Jimi Hendrix sound. OR You have to be on stage at Woodstock. Etc... Your little room is NOT Hendrix. Your not official pedal is also NOT Hendrix. Wake up kid! You're just getting reported to the authorities for misleading the public. You're not allowed to mislead the public.
