Agreed, he deserves so much love! (Though I still don't consider the latter canon 😂 Based on his history, it seems more likely the devs set him up to be eventually disowned from the Gaunts. Complete denouncement of the Dark Arts, hated txrturing muggles, stayed with the Sallows more than his own family... could be copium but there's precedent in the Black family and others)

I’m starting to thing that my Hufflepuff and Ominis would have a hard time with falling for each other. She wouldn’t say a thing to ruin their friendship, he neither and that stupid „silent thing” would go on for years. That’s why if I’ll ever finish my fic about him and my girl, he might take her surname. Or they might take both or surnames. Why not? If you’re gonna share life, why not the Gaunt burden?

I like that seb talked about Anne In the game I was so into coupling seb with the character and ominis with Anne When I was reading the story I liked that I could put there voices together whenever something on was originally on KZbin ❤

Their conversation was my favorite scene from the chapter. So wholesome and reliefing. It's good to see them talk things over and take a stand beside the MC. And... As always... I adore Ominis so much. You captured his character very well. He cares so much.

In my game I think my MC just liked Ominis from day one, in the common room, but later found herself truly in love with Sebastian... But, the way you worked Ominis and Terra's friendship made me enchanted by Ominis again and now I can't choose between the two anymore. 🤣 Your Ominis is so sweet, just like the first impression I got of him in the common room... Nicely done. Personally I do ship Anne and Ominis. Having both been isolated and traumatised a lot in life, I feel these two would naturally gravitate towards each other, since they've always been each other's rock. Plus, it continues the old Potter tradition of marrying your best friend's sister, lol. Sebastian is very protective of Anne as well and I feel that nothing would make him happier than to see his sister and best friend together.

In my story, Sebastian makes him feel the vow, which had physically scarred his wrist and hand. I had to tweak the dialogue here a bit to make sense for video but that’s why he mentions the hand thing

He’s still blind in my stories. In the written chapter, Sebastian forces Ominis to physically touch the Vow scars on his hand/wrist, which is magical in nature (at least in my canon, I don’t think the books make it clear), so that’s why Ominis is able to notice it. He can’t actually see it, but can feel the magic and the rather deep ridges in the skin. But in general Ominis is a lot more capable since he has his wand. He can’t see but he can sense things, which in my mind is similar to echolocation
