The problem is when the gifted believe they're better than the rest of us. I mean what an amazing gift to have, but it should always be paired with humility.

She is the kinda girl who doesn’t just solve maths problems she sees through them like magic . And when others struggle she makes it look effortless , like numbers were made for her . One day she won’t just be good at maths but be the reason it gets better . They are the generation who could really change something .

Except its completely fake, just like the Queens Gambit, because woman just aren’t built the same in real life. Stop trying to act like men and women are equal. Only trans women are breaking the female records. There is not a single trans man that has ever broken any records because facts don’t care about your feelings.

While it is a fake tv show from people acting out written scripts it is a very real scenario that might be extremely uncommon but there are at least a handful of full of people in the world that were extremely advanced as a child and have the gift of numbers. Warning-long story of my personal experience. My middle daughter scored such a high score in first grade that her teacher thought it was a fluke so she tested her again and got the same score. The crazy thing was she didn’t get great grades and actually struggled in school bc she couldn’t show her work. She did everything in her head but couldn’t explain how so her teacher made her relearn everything (which was hard for her bc it was much different then how she naturally was doing it) I regret not supporting her natural ability’s more bc I thought if she learned how to do things and broke them down the way the teacher wanted then she would have even more knowledge and multiple ways of doing math but it didn’t work that way. Apparently for her it was so different that she had a hard time understanding the way teacher wanted that she put all her focus on doing it that way for so long that she seemed to no longer understand how she did it before. Totally fail on my part, teacher told me that if she couldn’t explain her work then she wouldn’t be able to understand the next things they were going to learn so she needed to learn that way to be able to move forward but I don’t know if that would of been true or not. Hope someone somewhere reads this and does things differently than I did. Some Kids are different and just bc their brains function differently then we’re used too and just bc we don’t understand it don’t mean it wrong. The teacher convinced me that if she (my daughter) didn’t know how she was doing it then she didn’t fully understand it but obviously she did because she was really good.
